That was my only real gripe about GalCiv 1 and I see it is still here in GalCiv 2. Obviously this was done on purpose but I don't see why. Why would you want to completely ignore the fog of war and be able to see any and every ship in the orbits of opponents planets (and get total details of them as well)? If there is a good reason that I am not seeing, I am all ears (or eyes, whatever)

I made my first trade route and a screen came up telling me about it but the area of the screen that should have a picture of something was completely blank. Also, when this screen came up all of the sound shut down. I had to restart the game to get sound back. SORRY, I somehow made this post in the wrong fourm. I wanted it to go in the Bug report forum. Oops.

I am finally getting a chance to make my own map. I assumed that it would be as easy as it looks. Some how its not. Either I am missing something or I can't save a map. Period. I choose "Save" or "Save As", type a name and hit save. I get no errors. I also get no new map file put in the directory I chose to save in. What am I missing here? >:(

This completely defeats the purpose of the fog of war. Now you can see ships anywhere and can always know when an attack is heading toward you. Ever since the game first came out I have not liked the fact that alien ships can be seen in orbit around planets whether the planet was in the fog of war or not. The latest change makes the
