Lol, there are only 3 forum members who have no life enough - OR, if you will, are DEVOTED enough - to wait for the monthly update with bated breath, clicking refresh over and over and over while posting nonsense on the forums...............
It's either this or reddit.
Monday the 7th of November.
2017
It was delayed until Monday.
^ Ahh, so you're the knight in shining armour, bringing power to the minority, then? Got it.
Aren't you?
Oh no, what are you going to do, not play the game you already paid for? [e digicons]:P[/e]
Well... Probably not... Remember that I didn't really like SC2's adventure mode. I kinda bought into the founder program for SuperMelee and SuperMelee alone... Stupid me. I thought local MP would be a locked-in feature and that internet MP would be the feature on the chopping block. &n
hahaha yeah, honestly one of the reasons I'm a little less active here than I was at the start is that people seem to be really really really into complaining lol
Human nature. Forums are always on the two extremes. They are either going to be bitch-fests or circle-jerks and will always be frequented by the vocal minority. Don't let that stop you.
^ I would argue that right now, your grievance is more important to us forum denizens than the actual game.
::slowly rises up from the ground:: Hello, thread.
Oh GAWD, you're right... then we'll have a solid month of IBNobody's I-told-you-so's... damn it, it's a lose-lose!
Why would I do that? I do not enjoy having to pin them down on such a basic feature. And who's nose would I rub it in, anyway? If they announce it, great! Everybody wins. I won't have much to
Quoting IBNobody, reply 2 No sticky = confirmation that the feature was cut. That's not the way it works. [e digicons]:)[/e]
Ok, ok... Topics SD considers to be vital are being stickied. Local multiplaye
...have you ever celebrated christmas? And if so, what kind of kid got to pick what was inside of it?
You've known me for almost a year. Can't you tell I was a spoiled brat? :P Besides. A 🐦 in the ✋ is worth two in the 🌳.
^ This. For the love of God. Also, I guess it would be a big hint if my local multiplayer information request topic isn't stickied. No sticky = confirmation that the feature was cut.
^ Found the creator of the worst planet name. (But I am sorry for baiting you into revealing it.)
On a sidenote, what is going to stop people (me) from datamining the universe files and discovering the locations of these planets? I'm already committed to creating an anti-filler mod that deletes them, after all.
^ Picking what is inside is better.
I was cool with the whole video until the end... I never considered myself to be an environmentalist, but I don't like the *real* idea of terraforming Mars. We're going to ruin another planet. WooHoo! TOM WAS HERE, baby!
No, they won't respond to this. It would tip us off to what they are going to do with the "planet" names.
I was going to try to RickRoll y'all, but I was being nice.
The screenshot comparisons for Ashes were awesome. Thanks for sharing them! I know what to expect now.
FYI, Brad... Sharing isn't working right on that link...
Okay, if you could just stop assuming that we don't have any knowledge of basic gaming outside of video games, that would be great.
Do YOU know the house rules for US Lasers in Fortress America? :P I don't. I wonder what they are.
Ok Ok Ok... Don't twist my arm off. I'm not in favor of plain escort missions either. I just thought that there had to be another way...
What not to do: for the love of god, we don't need escort quests with AI. No matter HOW sophisticated the AI is, it's inevitably more frustrating than it is fun.
What if the escort missions in SCO involved 1-on-1 battles without the escorted object being on the battlefield?
I don't think it's so much that you're being squeaky, but HOW you're being squeaky.
I'm not bringing it up in every thread, even those that I post in. I try to keep my squeaking topical. And humorous, self-mocking, or sarcastical when I can. But here we are in a thread called "What NOT to do in Origins"... ::eyes the vacant soapbox:: You asked for it, CuoreBr
It's kind of sad that I am getting veiled threats/hints/warnings/promises/hostility/whatever of violence (or banishment) for asking about the state of a feature. You could just admit that the feature isn't there. Worst case is that you'll have to wade through tens of posts with people other than me (but mostly me) trying to convince you to put the feature back in. What harm would it do?
