I agree with the sentiment that while it worked in SC2, I think the ship models should not intersect. It's just like how in FFVII, party members were sort of parked inside of your main character when they weren't important, but in recent titles, everyone is out and about and interacting with their environment at all times.
If the main ship was big enough, the other ships could dock in it. That&#
I'll sell you mine for a measly $100. You could at least play with your family in the same room at the same time. NMS MP style.
That's about the only way I'd ever do it - buying a key from a third party. If there is no local multiplayer, I will never buy a second key from an official retailer. I don't have much control over the game they are developing, but I do have control over my wallet. SD w

If the planet surfaces are sufficiently detailed and varied in design, shadows will not be a dealbreaker.
Anecdote - I spent 7 years with an antiquated computer. It was PCIe v1, and as such, it was very limited in how far I could upgrade it. It had a GTX 250 in it, and even that wasn't being fully utili

After watching the video... (Which took an awful long time to download, much longer than a 700MB file should.) [0:10] The solar system entry sequence was okay, but I would want to shut it off after some amount of gameplay. [0:15] I am not a fan of orange HUDs. [0:32] Lander controls? Who uses RShift and RCtrl in gaming?!?!? [0:32] The lander GUI could use some screen-edge flags to show which direction minerals are in. <d
We have them in here but there is the possibility they could get cut in order to make our hardware requirement objective (they're not fully developed at this stage so we will know within the next few months whether we can do this). Not sure how many people will care about this or not. That isn't to say we won't have shadows, just not sure about this fidelity.
I am in the no-shadow crowd. I only care about shadows in FPS types of games where
Ok, but you bring up that bitterness a lot. Part of giving feedback is accepting the fact that people will think you are wrong. It's apparent that you DO care if people criticize your ideas, because you always are quick to remind us that only the dev's opinions matter. You need

Message me an email I can submit my feedback to and I will stay off this forum and away from this madness and the all knowing, always right, legendary (in their own mind) game masters that populate this forum. Thanks.
I vote for this option too. If we aren't going to use these foru
Hear Hear! Though I suspect that it was something cooked up by the team management in order to solicit more feedback without increasing the level of interaction or information.

Stardock, Pinning posts does not appear to be working as a method to necro-revive these old discussions. The pinned posts are not attracting any new feedback. Look at the posting dates. (And look at the people who are posting to them.) I've also noticed that there is little discussion, in general, about past updates going on now. Sure, you have people referencing ideas/feedback they created, but you do not have any new posters digging into them and submitting new feedback.
