I agree IPlural ..

I aplogize for sterotyping, but usually males are the ones that are fond of the grousome monsters...but I could be wrong... I also apologize for wording things a bit sketchily, I wasn't really accusing YOU of a free-ride, it wasn't really directed at anybody. As for your "This is all null and void"....Why say that after taking out the time to write a post? That's basically saying "This is exactly why you should believe me, why I am right in this subject. Oh, yes, and
Hey all, I've been working on this wall on and off for a while...I was just hoping you could give me a bit of feedback on it. http://duiswin.netmar.com/wyrm/XP-Hills-1024.jpg Also what would you think of a WB skin based a bit on this color scheme/style...? [Message Edited]
Man, you didn't have to jump on me for a bloody spelling error, I aplogize, Werewolf* I do realize that not everyone is a freeloader, and some just can't pay. However why should you be more entitled to a free ride than the owners of Wincustomize? If they share, why can't you share? Besides, it's not like you're going to die without downloading stuff from one site. This is getting bordering on flaming now though, so I'm just gonna shutup. <img src="http://images.stardock.com
I think it'd be good if you didn't link directly to the .exe nophil...given the ammount of nasty programs around nowadays...(no offence, I'm sure it's a legist program, just link to the site where you can download it if you can) Thanks everyone else too! I didn't know there were that many programs for this, lol
Orion, if you buy OD and cross-reference, you get unlimited downloads at WC yeah, but buying the WC acct. gives you even more perks..
LA Warewolf, not thinking beyond your own situation? What about the owners of Wincustomize's situation? They pay to uphold the site too, perhaps they would like to have some of that money for other things, but no, they spend that money on upholding the site because they want to bring the joy of skinning to everyone. 50 megs of download is very generous I think. If you've downloaded 50 megs worth, and want more, you should pay a little and buy a subscription. I mean, say you get paid
But wouldn't the residue from the sticky stuff hurt your monitor...or at least make things hard to see? Plus you can't write on those with a keyboard..unless your keyboard has a built-in pen, like mine does....
Ooh..that one is cool Caddy, thanks! And, I don't use objectdock yet, because it doesn't have duel monitor support, but nice icon!
Thanks guys! Gotta try 'em all to see which one I like best.
Hey all...bit of an odd question.. I dunno if you've ever used a mac, but there's a program for it called Sticky Notes..or something along those lines, it's basically little sticky notes on your desktop that you can write in.. I was wondering if anyone knew of a Windows version, or a program like it on Windows... Thanks in advance for any help!
*sigh* Alright....it does and it doesn't...but it's probably the best answer I'll get.... Thanks though. *reminds self to read FAQ more closely next time...*
Well, the whole deal with Stardock and Wincustomize is to customize Windows... Hence WINdowblinds, and WINcustomize.... There may be similar programs for macs, or even have programs like it built in, but I don't know...
Is it just me, or has the wallpaper moderation gone nuts... I read the guidelines...it says no XP-Related walls, unless really innovative/original... looking at some recent submissions, I see a few really shotty XP walls, so I think mine has a chance, as it's a good bit better than they are.. but I submit, and it gets denied... I may just be bitter that I got denied here, or there actually may be something to it...or a bit of both... anyway, I was just won
I bought the whole object desktop deal, still thinking about whether or not to get a WC subscription, but it's looking better by the day. The only thing I didn't like about object desktop is that it didn't come with CursorXP
lol, these are all pretty good...'cept for the cow one..that was just creepy.. Seen the funnycats one before, but it's still good Also the cat's in the kettle song is a lot better without the crappy flash movie with it...
Darn, this is a toughie.... I always love the Christmas Carol incarnations, the muppet one, and the one with Patrick Stewart are probably my favorites.... In the old puppety stop-motion genre, Rudolph is my favorite... National Lampoons Christmas vacation is good too..
Hehe, translators are funny. If you use babelfish with the site you get some good stuff...Like "If Background Painting" or "List it sees, The next page." Oh, also I tried registering a user on the site just to see if that helped me somehow, but you need a registration number of some sort (or so I gathered with the use of a translator), so I have no idea, without knowing korean. [Message Edited]
Well, I'm sort of flattered that my work was worth ripping, but angry as hell at the same time. They have one of my cursors and my wall. Oh, this helped me a lot, so hopefully it will help other non-korean speakers here too.. http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/tr just enter in http://mytheme.net in the url box, and select korean to english from the drop-down
wrecklesserk, I smell something too....something foul
ok, thanks guys, I suppose I should stop being lazy and look through the options myself next time eh?
thanks IPlural..
paxx *coughMINEDIDNTcough* It really is worth it though, I personally love the nested layer sets, as I'm a huge organization buff.
Well, mostly out of boredom, I decided to start this thread. What is your favorite WindowBlinds (or whatever other program you'd like to talk about) skin/theme of all time? Personally, I love SoftCrystal for WindowBlinds, first skin I've ever had for longer than 2 or 3 months.
Hehe, that's not what I wanted, thanks though. Um, basically, I play a mmorpg called runescape, I "work" for a fansite, and one of the things I help with is making maps. The game has a little minimap, so you basically have to take bunches of screenshots of this little map, then stick them all together. However, the newest version of photoshop has built-in image stitching. This makes the combining of all the little images much easier. However you can only merge saved files.
