Your Stardock.net account is used here by the forums, in Stardock Central, on other Stardock sites, and also to manage your Metaverse characters.  "One account to rule them all."

Your account can have up to THREE characters tied to it.  Most people will have only 1 but this way, if you have multiple people in your family playing the game (my son plays for instance) they can use a character. 

If you've already pre-loaded, you should be able to go to the Metaverse and Manager Characters.  You will need your serial # to create another character.

If you have any problems, let us know.

I am a Senator for the Paradox Empire, yet when I go to View My Empire or Edit Empire from my account screen I get prompted to create a new empire.

How do I access the functions of the Empire I am in?
Things like accepting a a character for membership?



No one? anyone?
Any pointers would be apreciated.

You have to go to the Empire's homepage, not your empire. Because you are a senator, does not make it automatically 'your' empire. Currently senator functionality is pretty limited. If you are a senator for an empire you'll see an 'Edit Empire' button on empire page.

I must be dense since I cannot see any button labeled "Edit Empire" Can you tell me where on the page it is located?
And by Homepage you mean the page you get when you click on the empire name, the one that lists the Characters in the empire and the total Empire stats?

I would like to second Castellon's problem. I recently joined (2 days ago?) the overmind empire and have been promoted to senator (and I am listed as such on the empire home page). On the empire's home page I only see the join empire button. If I click it, my character is listed as already a member, with "Leave empire" as an option.

If I go to Account->View My Empire or Account->Edit My Empire, I get screens for creating a new empire.

May or may not be related. I have also noticed on my profile page that my last visit is listed as May 21st. This is not correct. I have loged out and back in today to see if this would fix any of these issues.

WTF is up? When I try to submit a game to the Metaverse, I get:

(12) Your game submission was rejected because the application serial number does not match the serial number on the Metaverse server.

Since I haven't changed the application serial number AND it has taken my postings before, I can only assume that there is something screwed up on your end (AGAIN!!!)! Could you please explain why I can't submit a game to the Metaverse? I haven't done anything different from the other times it took my submissions. What good is it if you can't use it? Please explain ASAP!!!

I am having the same problem as everyone else. Beginning to think it is a glitch. I got my game about a month ago, new from the store. I am an only child, have created one account, and amazingly, it takes my collector's serial, but it says that my base has already been used. Please help....

Okay, I've got a small problem, you see I bought a copy of your game... About a 3 maybe 4 months ago when it first came out, but my dad installed it on his computer then regestered it in his name!!! GRRR! Now I can't regester the game here because it say's the copy has already been regestered! If it helps to verify any info my dad's name is David Minerly, which also happens to be my name. Did you need the Serial Number as well. Maybe you can earse the old regestration and replace it with mine?

Stardock does not transfer registrations between owners as a general rule (too much potential for abuse). You'll need to work it out with your dad (get him to give you/let you use the account, or just activate using his email address).

i cant register my account at all i tried to do it with my serial # but that didnt work...... All it says is failed to register and incorrect serial # and i made sure that it was in correctly.....

what? I am a senator, can I edit the Empire I am in? changing name and picture and stuff like this? I thought it's only for the looks, "Hey, look at me, I'm a senator and you are not!" so what's the deal?

I was playing a game, forgot that I had not created my character. I stopped playing, chreated my character, and finished my first game.

The game did not load to my character. What did I do wrong?

In order to post to the metaverse, the game has to be started through the metaverse button on game start menu.

i cant make a name it taken or its invailed when i follow and only use vail letters is there a way to play the game online or is there to many idoits the have so many chars that theres no names left

Each player can create up to three characters, so there are a lot of names in use. Be sure to check your serial as well (you should be using the same as you registered with, not a serial that begins with GC2-).

FYI it is not 'online play' in the usual sense; having a metaverse character only lets you submit your scores to the rankings. It is still single-player though.
