I've quit galciv for sometime, mostly due to that I didn't have a computer, But I'm trying to get back into it and I was wondering, is Altarian prohpecy only avaible online? Now it refuses to even load, it loads a saved game, the tech screen is blank, and if i push done, it goes to the space screen, but instead of seeing stars everything is red then it crashes. Bah! >.<

the first few games i've played the game was fine but now it's crashing at almost every move. it's driving me nuts! I've had it crashed when a colony event pops up, i had it crash on a random event, i had it crash EVERY time when i click total routes on the forgein relations while selecting a race. I've had it crash while just pushing the turn button (it just froze, no action whatsoever, music still played) as you can see, i find it exited to desktop quite often, I don't think it has to

speaking of new races, we do need some development on the current ones. One of the problems though i find is that there isn't enough races, 5 races are kinda boring. but as i mean by work on the current, what about the altarians? I was really disapointed that you never really found out how your race is similar.

I find invading a planet with ground forces a pain in the butt IMHO... and if I need to I usually do it around the middle of their empire to split them up (this worked well against an acrean-subnorm) It IS fun to blow up stars and to use mass drivers. problem with terror stars is that it takes them 20 years to get there >:( usually with mass drivers I win easily and then i abandon the system. my favorite way to take over a system is the mobile culture starbase, I load up a ter

if you look closely at the morale event where you find a precursor device and you are asked to sacrifice people for planet quality, it looks exactly like the ships you get in the tech. victory cinimatic. I felt really special finding this and i'm betting you all knew months before i did :-p any other concidences you have found?

Invisible ships? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

this has happened on multiple games and has caused me GREAT harm.... Sometimes ships/terror stars are invisible and the only way to click on it is to wait till the beginning of every turn where it gives you an option of moving gaurding ect.. well this is also the case for alien ships.. (imagine an invisible enemy terror star sneaking up on sol without anyway of knowing other then an invisible barrier when you move ships) ugh.. i'm guessing it's my computer but do you have any suggestions? <b
