View it as you will. Having the game laid out in a wiki diminishes the work the developer did by handing out the answers to the game and removing the point of the game. Why play the game if your going to get screenies and walthroughs for it? That completely takes the fun our of the game. I'm no stranger to Acoustic Couplers and low baud modems. I SYSOP'd a BBS in the late 80's myself. I understand what your getting at. It's not just about "objectionable gaming play-s

I have faith in Stardock to do the right thing by their gamers. The fact we have input as founders says a lot toward their commitment.
I want to hear "Grandizer Go"!!!!
Halloween Harry, Star Goose, TFX, Dune 2, Stellar 7 are perfect games to play!!!
Badgers? We need stinking Badgers!!!!
I think the script for the game should randomize locations of key items. I hate the idea of someone jumping on a wiki and finishing the game in a hour. Make the game truly more difficult. Each decision along the quest line changes the location of the item. Whether the item is moved because the protectors have discovered your after it or you changed a diplomatic situation and a system no longer is in the sphere of influence of that species and needs to be relocated. Some items will be static I
I'm into consequence game play. Multi path endings are cool but in the end state there is a desired outcome that the designers want for the game players. I just hope that I can play the way I want and still be able to finish the game.
I just can't bring myself to spend that much money on Oculus Rift. The only way I could justify it would be total immersion gameplay such as IR sensors for realistic cockpit play.
Star Control: Drinking the Blood of the Non-Believers.
I've broken out my DosBox and started playing some classics like Command Adventures: Starship, Wing Commander 2, Scorched Earth and Dungeon Hack. love the classics.
Again, I'm sure that there will be another round of founder opportunities or at least Early Access. I'm not a Stardock employee but I would like to think they would go that route.
Hiya erakus! Have some welcome Karma! I'm stoked for the return myself!
Hmmm Trekkie. That would be fun to have something trekkie as a Easter egg.
Not like "START" But according to the dates, this year we will receive many things to do with the game project, and new information, but i really put this here to say, May you have an wonderful 2016! and i hope this project becomes more and more awesome than you anticipated! Well we didn't go too far off point. At least SC was part of the discussion. [e digicons]:P[/e] [e digicons];P[/e] [e digicons]:P[/e]
Well I think the differences between the Genre of Fallout Series and Star Control Series is what will make the difference. I liked in SC2 you could avoid combat for the most part unless its scripted in. The FO series is very difficult to avoid combat especially if you can't fast travel to a destination. This makes fedex missions almost not worth it at times. SC series has regenerating power and ammunition vs FO which does not and you are forced to plan more carefully before goin i
Ok, don't tell me too much cause I just got it and I'm looking forward to trying it out [e digicons];)[/e] I'm allergic to spoilers.
I won't. I will say it was still a fun game. I'm very critical of my Space Genre games. I will say that I LOVED Ring Runner: Flight of the Sages. There are two books that go with it that are superb!
Keep your head up. It may still happen. I thought that I wouldn't get a chance and found the email deep in my spam folder. [e digicons]:andrew:[/e] [e digicons]:andrew:[/e]
I Finished the plotline in Rebel Galaxy and I'm not sure how I feel about it. The encounters random or not seemed over scripted. Don't get me wrong I did enjoy playing it but it seemed like waaaaay too much running back and forth between systems doing favors. I know SC series had a lot of that, but RG travel time between destinations was just a pain in the butt.
Have you checked for Dnarri? Errrr... too late you are already under their mind control....
Sorry my friend I'm wearing my agonizer!
Uh What tools?
You can find it in Google play my friend!
Planet scanning should be effected by weather, ship sensor level and time in orbit. a slow methodical scan will give greater detail vs a quick wide sweeping scan.
That would be on e hell of a system. I wonder if you could actually have a habitable zone with a binary system. I would think it would be a great area for mining and the base of some primordial soup.
