I heard you can import video (mp4) files into the conversation screen to create new aliens and I presume you can also import audio files too. Combine those two together and you can create new aliens. What you can't do is the fancy auto-lip synching because that requires 3D modeling not importing an mp4.

I like positioning the lander crew, cargo, and energy at the bottom so your eyes don't have to travel so far (on the other hand that would hide some radar contacts), but I don't care where the rest of it goes.
I also agree there does not need to be a mini-map. Remember please use the new Beta 1A discussion thread.
Remember we also use RU at the precursor starbases right from the start and that makes sense. I think RUs at the human starbase make sense until the RTS expansion. Think of this like doing SCII before SCI. I also heard that the sublight engines (the EMDrive in one of the developer diaries) of the vindicator are experimental, so that is why no one else has mined the solar system. The vindicator is clearly a mining ship so I assume the original plan was have the vind
I have an Intel core i7, 16 GB RAM, and a GeForce 965m. Everything runs smoothly except cloudy planets. I turned off Anti-aliasing (and that helps) because turning it off did not cause screen tearing. Should I turn my graphics down from max? I had to do that for Ashes of the Singularity because my GeForce only has 2GB Video RAM but I was hoping that Star Control did not require so much because the Ashes terrain is much bigger than Star Control planets. My setting
I like the new viewscreen. But the Human Commander starbase image (I'm not sure about the Tywom and Scryve) on 1920x1080 does not show the Happy Campers post-it on the right because that is off-screen. A lot of people will not have 4k because they have laptops, so please resize the 4k conversation screens to fit on 1920x1080 (should take like one step in an image processor) I don't want to miss anything.

I like how the lander minigame works now. I think there is a reason (lots of interesting stuff hidden on planets that landing anywhere would mess up) we only have 1 landing site per planet (eg. it was mentioned there are lander boost upgrades so you can reach plateaus you couldn't before; being able to land on those plateaus from space messes that up) and I prefer being able to land on any planet just like SC2 why would you single out landing difficulty to have an auto-lock until
Suggestion: Before scanning for a landing zone, spin the planet to the energy signal's location, and visibly alert the player to the existence of these unidentified energy sources. At least point them out - these are the cool part! I don't want that. A text box on the left already tells you this and spinning the planet automatically wastes time if the player doesn't want to.
I don't care about a cargo sell all button. The way it works now is fine and avoids mistakes about selling uranium, etc. But is there a way to sell only some of a material (eg. if I know I need 1 uranium for the Moon base can I sell all of my uranium except 1?)
Come to think of it, Mmrnmhrm would be actually cool to have and finally talk to, just before they even met Chenjesu and before their Mother Ark broke. If Daks were also in this region of space, it could be cool to see the interactions between those two Precursor-made mech races in one quadrant. Could make for a nice story.
That's a great idea about the Mmrnmhrm Mother Ark! I vote for that!<
1. I loaded the Scryve wreckage on board and it does not appear in my inventory You can load the Scryve wreckage on board? I thought it was converted to RU.
Do you need to buy a docking bay to get enough space to take both the Tywom and Earth Cruiser with you at the end of Ch1? Why can't I store modules at the starbase? Some of the planetary resources are hard to find because they are sunk into the terrain.
The lander cannon is easy to aim left and right but really hard to aim up and down because if the lander is on tilted terrain that messes with the aim and the laser arcs as if it had mass instead of pointing straight forward and shooting. I lost 2 landers at the Lexite Interceptor base before shooting down all of the drones. Maybe the mouse could be used to rotate the cannon turret so I can do drive-by shootings. The captain's log hyperlink about the Tywom b
I think a DLC of an adventure after the Scryve story about the entire Sentient Milieu would be great because we haven't seen many of their species before.
Don't Phamyshed regenerate their crew after eating aliens they pick up after Invitation? That quick crew regeneration might mean Phamyshed are an
I would like to test chapter 1 please

In UQM as your alliance grew so did your roster of ships. The ships were only attached to the Vindicator and could not be stored away at the Earth Starbase, not even the Arilou which if I remember correctly you could not actually get more of. I'm guessing that SC:O does not give you unlimited access to building alien ships at the Earth starbase once you ally, rather you are gifted ships after certain quests or after visiting the alien's starbase. I'm guessin
Shield is so cool. But Dual Shot is really hard to hit with because the Interceptor turns surprisingly slowly (at least in the extreme case (Measured), vs a Battlecruiser I suppose Dual Shot is hard to miss).

For example is the first FPS game to use regenerating health or shields suing most modern FPS for having that? No.
The only thing I am not clear about is whether or not there was a lapse in royalties causing the license to expire. Everything else seems to support Stardock's position.
Is there a way for orbiting turrets to auto fire before being relased, equivalent to Avatar Zap-sats? Or do the turrets have to be released before activating?
The Copenhagen Interpretation (the most popular model) really does care about whether or not the observer is looking (whether or not there is decoherence , the most extreme example being Schrödinger's Cat ) just as you said. I think that part actually is based in real science, although it is the most controversial part of the Copenhagen Interpretation b
