If you keep playing you eventually get more RU through quests than mining the average planet. Or you could shoot aliens, especially trading vessels, for RU. Also, it was not intended for you to mine every planet (that is like robbing every house in Skyrim), only the ones with good resources. Also, during the beta it took me only 40 hours to buy almost everything, do quests for all the major alien races, and finish the story and that was with me doing a lot of pointless grind
The Star Control Origins Fleet Battles Beta was automatically removed from my computer, but when I opted out of the Founders (press build) beta yesterday and downloaded the full release the Star Control Origins Beta was not removed from my Steam\steamapps\common Do I need to uninstall and reinstall Star Control Origins to remove the beta files?
Steam reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, but review bombing seems to be happening on Metacritic. Most of those really negative scores don't even include an explanation. https://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/star-control-origins I created a metacritic account to try to fight this I hope we can get the user score to a reasonable level soon.
The planets look hand-crafted even though only the props are hand-crafted. Your planet generator is awesome!
Yeah I vote for submarine. If you don't go under the water it is too similar to an ice world.
My installed SCO Fleet Battle Beta disappeared from my Steam Library, I think because the beta has ended. But the files are still on my computer in steamapps common. How do I uninstall the SCO Fleet Battles Beta to free up memory on my computer? I can't do the usual thing and right click uninstall it on Steam because it is no longer there. I don't want to just delete the files in steamapps common because that could leave leftovers in other places like the Windows reg

I'll start off the judging. I vote for the hyperspace torpedo. Maybe it could be one of the Human ships in the campaign? Humans love explosions: But we didn't think aliens should have ships that look like that. Our ships look like they do because we humans have a number of unique (in the Star Control universe) attributes, including our adoption of using explosions for engines (ICE), explosions to propel bits of metal, and explosions for making even bigg

Our ships look like they do because we humans have a number of unique (in the Star Control universe) attributes, including our adoption of using explosions for engines (ICE), explosions to propel bits of metal, and explosions for making even bigger explosions (nukes). Not to mention, explosions for showing explosions (Michael Bay). Our civilization is very good at utilizing explosions. </blockquot

Ok the July 27 update of the Chapter 1 Beta fixed the failing to get Point Defense from Ceres bug. Also I like how modules are handled now (cargo on the Vindicator and you can sell them to get rid of obsolete ones). It seems that the modules in cargo don't take up any space, because when I sold a lander cannon that was not installed (it was in cargo) the cargo fill indicator did not change. Modules not taking up any space might be more fun than them taking up space, I'm not sure.<
When I picked up all of the Tywom parts before meeting the Tywom, the probe never appeared and I just faced the Cruiser after meeting the Tywom.
I heard that SC2 did not put stars in their actual positions. Frogboy is it ok for me to say here on the non-founder's forum whether SCO will do actual star positions?
When you do the Combat trial on Ceres you do get the Advanced Nuke, but when you do the Advanced trial on Ceres you don't get the point defense. When I went back to Star Control I still had to pay 1500 RU for the point defense. Also the Advanced trial is far too easy because its bullets are pea shooters taking 20 shots to kill the Vindicator. But I don't know how to fix that because if you make the Advanced trial too hard then human tech
If Earth forms colonies will they generate resources for you like SC3?
I can use the afterburners (just need some space to get up to speed) to get out of crevasses without the anti-gravity jump. Are there larger crevasses or plateaus outside of Sol that I can only get out of or to by jumping?
The Vindicator has Point Defense secondary weapon so what this guy at Ceres says is incorrect. After I visited the Europa Monument and the Lexite moon base my cargo indicator messed up: <img src="https

I was really looking forward to just wiping the universe clean, starting fresh, and making something that is 100% mine...and I'm still curious how that is going to work, if we can do it.[/quote] You can create universes. The devs have said that they want to support players using the dev tools to create their own universes. I don't know the details but I hope that you can create your own
I don't know either.
I also have time in August to do the full adventure mode. Let me know if you need another pass at Fleet Battles I could do another comparison of every ship vs every other ship. I understand I need to be more active on Discord.
I want to see the Lexites more than the Androsynth. Love the Androsynth spacecraft but I never liked their lore (cheap blade runner knockoff).
I am confused about the green powerup in Fleet Battles. One powerup is +acceleration and another is +top speed, which makes sense. But the green powerup says it increases maximum crew population. That only helps the Phamyshed because they are the only ones that can increase their crew in battle. Why is the green powerup not regenerate crew? Maybe call it medical supplies?
