The vault postings are pretty regular. They happen monthly, usually the last day of the month or within the first couple of the next month. Most of the news is shared via discord currently, but Stardock has been taking a break over the last couple of weeks.
Ehh? Boring to limit the number of nuke missiles but not boring to nerf them??? The easy way out?? Serious?
I'm just saying that floating around for 5 minutes waiting for the number of nukes to regenerate would make me uninstall the game after one match. Might even leave a bad review on the way out. Once you'll get a key you'll see what we mean. The cruiser can 2

It's not that the Measured are too weak, it's that they went from being interesting and new(ish) to a boring rehash of the Androsynth without the bubbles. The beacon warp is gone. Primary attack is "slam into stuff" and I can't recall the secondary. Also the controls blow.

Brad should be a hero by making good games (which he has so far, I've said before I wouldn't have backed this game if it wasn't Stardock and Brad's posts on TPONAF) not by making people feel like special snowflakes for picking their ships. Not to mention all the sand coming from people who don't get picked. imo of course

Much on board with you. Right now the flagship (aka humanity's first big entry into the galaxy) is as powerful as the fully upgraded Vindicator. It's fast, it turns well, it's got really overpowered self-guided nukes. Why bother with meeting other races? Just fly to the Scryve homeworld, and rid the galaxy of them all by yourself. I'm hopeful that the current version is just a placeholder. The cruiser really needs some tuning. I've previously sugges

I like the proposed hyperspace. It sounds suspiciously like what I posted previously. Hopefully it will blend out to a red hue. I can live with it if it doesn't though. Looking forward to the new build. And another round of @frogboy posts. Maybe I'll get through all the ships this time.

My feedback has been focused mostly on what we have in hand currently. I think I've covered 6 ships and have quick notes on a couple more. I've spoken my mind regarding hyperspace. Everything else seems like things I agree with. Me agreeing with SD over and over isn't valuable to them.
Without the founders, the game wouldn't be on the track (the right track) it is today. Over the past year the founders have had an immense impact on the development of the game via their postings here.
awww..buy yourself a coffee and send me the bill. But really it does seem that our input is being taken seriously. Several suggestions that we have made are clearly visible in ship de

I get the frustration, but seriously you aren't missing a thing with the testing. There haven't been any build updates until just recently and I can't even get it to work. Early key holders are getting the exact same communication you are, no more at all. News will pick up. Stardock wanted to finish the DLC for GalCiv, now it's out. I'd rather have them working on the game than chatting on the forums or in Discord. And I don't mean this to sound r

Not Star Control's fault that you aren't great at writing notes. You proposed to have sphere of influence type markers automatically added all over the map with information gained from discovery. That's really what I'm arguing against. I don't like quest logs much, mostly because I've yet to see one that I don't think detracts from the game.

It would get far too busy to look at. Unless you complete each 'quest' as you get it and then you may as well be on rails. But Alverez you say, we can just have an option to hide markers. Now I have a quest log full of garbage that I feel obligated to do. I want to explore a universe, not be lead around like a puppy on a walk.
Basically, for your game experience to be viable, you had to keep notes of everything you'd heard or learned so you could, if you wanted to, check them out later at your leisure. This means there is nothing in-game that helps you focus on your objectives. You can never tell what's important, what's close-by, etc.
To me his was one of the best things about SC2.&n
