I had to purchase a MPEG2 DVD decoder for my Vista machine to get some Dreams to run. I went with Roxio Cineplayer, but I imagine there are lots available. Once that was installed, I had no trouble playing all Dreams on my Vista computer. This is not intended to replace any info from CarGuy who would know a heck of a lot more about Dreams than I do.

Like Philly0381, I wonder if the member Carl (since 2006) is really making these posts. It seems like in 3 or 4 years these concerns would have been ironed out, regardless if they are valid or not.

Trident on my desktop, Alluminate on my laptop and netbook. I like using RightClick on my smaller displays, so stick to skins that have matching RightClick skins. I'm looking forward to Treetog's Corporate Suite (I hope it is for public release by Stardock), but it seems that there are lots of great skins in the works right now.

If you are logged into Wincustomize, your login name should appear right at the top of the page. That will take you to your account. I can't answer your question re random WB skins as I have never used that feature.

If I understand the problem correctly try this: Right click on the dock and choose SETTINGS A box should appear with two tabs, one of which is HOME Your dock should appear there, and then pick ACCESSIBILITY Then pick REGULAR and SHOW DOCK WHEN MOUSE TOUCHES EDGE That should put the dock in the background when other programs launch, and bring the dock to the foreground if you put your mouse against that adge of the screen. </

One more thought....... I think I recall reading that Windows 7 Starter will only allow a small number of programs to run at one time. If that is the case, you may be hitting that barrier.

I agree with the suggestion that your system does not have sufficient resources to run this software. The good news is that most netbooks accept 2G of RAM, and RAM is pretty inexpensive these days. Even if this isn't the problem, you will be happier with double the RAM.

I am not defending Stardock, nor am I an IT expert, but threats and demands may not be your best course of action. Many of the people that haunt the forums here are generally pretty skilled and helpful, and may be able to help you, but only if you request their assistance, which you don't appear to have done.

When I attempt to view the library of nicholas scarlett, in tile view, I get redirected to the main site all new submissions inventory. I have tried several other authors, and the only one I have problems with is nicholas scarlett. Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks.
