Sorry for the blank post. I was going to write about IE9 problems with this site and was unable to get any text to work. I use Win7 Home Premium 32 bit OS and IE9 on one of my computers. I have no Stardock issues, but I am seeing some interesting behaviour with Wincustomize site. When trying to download a skin/wallpaper/icon I sometimes get vast pages of tiny text (script?) instead of the item I want. And I am unable to type on the fo

I am pretty sure this is correct: Install Impulse if you have not already. In the upper left hand corner is a little tab. Check "show pre-release versions". OD2 should then show up.
My comment on DA: Wow! VStyler did great work on this, that is why I bought it from him several weeks ago. You should be ashamed of yourself. Don't bother with a rebuttal, you have absolutely no credibility and I'm not coming back to see your response. Good luck. [e digicons][/e]
Beautiful, and the wallpaper shouldn't be overlooked either, it looks great too.
A little off topic but the other day I noticed that MyColors Theme Ankh is advertised as being 7 compatible. This is cut/paste from MyColors: "Windows XP (32-bit), Vista and 7 (32-bit and 64-bit)" On application, I don't actually think it is compatible with 7. I also notice that a few months ago Stardock updated a number of themes here on Wincustomize (March 2010) but didn't indicate what the updates were. A number of people asked what the update involv
Just my opinion of course but when I go into a store, I generally find some things I like, some things I don't like, some things well made, some not-so-much etc. I don't expect anything different here. My understanding of the Master Skin status is that the artist/technician has been determined to possess the skills required to consistently make professional quality skins. I think they are doing that. They generally work on all Windows platf
I'm not a computer expert by any stretch of the imagination but I think your problem may be related to indexing (or lack of it). Here is a link to learn more to see if this is your problem. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/17854-index-locations-add-remove.html
I'll just stick my head in the door to say thank you to all the skinners who make their work available here. Even the skins I don't particularly like are a damn sight better than I could do, are frequently offered for free, and I imagine, are a labour of love and a learning process for the maker.
I'll wade in one more time. I have been a paying member here for many years. I am artistic as a doorknob so contribute nothing by way of art. I tried a bit, but it was very humbling. But I have seen several instances where alleged or real copyright infringment was discussed. I believe that the contributing artists and other paid members take the issue of copyright very seriously. I think that your allegation(s) are being taken seriously. But the
"I'm a forum member right?" "... being an active forum member that's what it's all about right?" ".... that's what it's all about right?" Three rights do indeed make a wrong! [e digicons]:D[/e]
OK. Stardock makes a program called Object Dock. There is a free version which has limited features, and a version that you would have to pay for, which has many more features. If you refer to this link you will be able to see what is offered in both versions: https://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/downloads.asp#download
I will try to help. Are you asking how you can get more than one dock?
I use DVD Fab ( http://www.dvdfab.com/?aid=2393&vid=avangate ) and have found it to be the best of the ones I have tried. I think you will get a pretty broad range of opinions on what is legal, and where that might be. In Canada, we pay an extra tax on blank media, such as cassette tapes, DVD and CD and that tax is intended to compensate artists for what is presumed to be the use of the blank media to copy ma
Are you pulling shortcuts from Windows Explorer, or the desktop? If the latter, try to pull them from the actual source in Windows Explorer, that should normally work.
I don't know about the "rebuild icon cache" method, but it sounds like good advice. To fix a similar icon problem, I installed MyColors, applied a theme, rebooted, applied the Windows default, rebooted and that did correct the "stuck" icons. Used on Vista 32 bit.

I just installed a fresh Windows 7 install on a new SATA drive and the process was uneventful. Works fine. I have an Alienware Area 51 and while I have always had SATA drives, I have had a history of problems using XP and Vista. Unplanned rebooting, screen black-outs and on and on. Motherboard replaced, RAM replaced and on and on. The problems were worse doing OS upgrades, but there were still problems even using a fresh install. The system was not overclocked, but heat is always a&

I was able to just now rate your Man wall. I would be happy to send you a screen print if you would like..... I am using Vista/IE and the rating stars appear immediately below the wall preview image. As with the old site, the vote is confirmed by a pop-up.
Sorry if this has been addressed elswhere, I could not see that it has. I receive the following message when I try to download skins I purchased a while back. I tried several (IE Infinity and Light Mark) .......... are these not available to me? If I make a new purchase, will it be available? Thank you. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The resource cannot be found
They are beautiful. Thank you. For some reason I am prevented from voting (I am a paid member) but when that gets cleared up, it's 5's across the board.
I have found that if I (attempt to) load the widget/object by double clicking it directly in Windows Explorer, it will not work (missing dll), but if I load that same widget/object through DesktopX itself or through the Widget Manager, they then work. Once loaded this way, they will auto-load on startup if so desired. I don't know why this works or what the problem is, but I rely upon this method now to get mine to work.
Glad to hear that RC is being continued.
