SDC is the installer (and the uninstaller) for these programs. You do not need to redownload everything if you have the archives you described. With SDC open, go to the File menu and click on Restore Archive... You can then navigate to the archive you wish to restore. If the archive you wish to restore is not in the default Backup folder, there is a Browse button at the lower left of the Restore Archive window. SDC does not need to be online to use the restore or uninstall features

Sysmetrix can pull almost everything it needs to work from your operating system or from the internet. The things that it can not pull from the OS are fan speeds and temperatures, because Windows provides no way to measure or fetch that data. Therefore, you need a software interface (in this case, MotherBoard Monitor) to measure and report the fan rpm's and temp's as well as the CPU temp. As for your question about resizing, how are you resizing? If you are using the deformation tool, you will only be able to modify one object/Selection at a time, unless you Group the elements first. If you want to resize the whole thing, use the Resize command from the Image menu. On the dialogue near the bottom, you will find a checkbox to resize all layers. In PSP8, you will find the drop shadow under the Effects menu. A couple of points, first. You will not be able to apply a shadow on a vector layer. You eill first have to convert the layer to raster. Make sure you have the vector layer Selected. Then under the Layer Menu, Select Convert to Raster... Once you have a raster layer, for which you want to apply a drop shadow.
