I like it. In a way, it's like a full expansion but you get it sooner than later. So it's like buying the whole set instead of buying individually.

Hey, maybe Stardock can help them out.
Just completed the story, but I forgot to do the Lexite story line. I figured saving the universe was more important than finding a bunch of eggheads. Did I miss anything by skipping them?
Yes, I played SC2. Relax, no need to get angry. I'm not some young whippersnapper, I played games from the 386 days. Including the original Starflight, Star Control and Tie Fighter. I'm just saying that I, personally, prefer the scanning and mining within the rover. Not the Mario world style gameplay with minerals waiting to be picked up. But if you think SC2/Starflight mineral collection is similar to Super Mario world, that's cool. That's your opi
How bout for Founders, if I recall correctly, weren't Founders suppose to get modding tools? Can you explain them and are they different from what everyone else gets?
Thanks guys
I wasted money on Star Citizen. Not a lot, but still enough that I feel ripped off and I don't think I'll ever play the release version of that game. I stopped playing the Alpha since it was a mess then and I don't even want to get my hopes up on it.
Have you played SC2? Just curious. I guess some might find it annoying, I can see how. I'm more of an exploration type of guy. I spend hours on Mass Effect 2 mining planets and don't find it boring. But that's just me and I'm probably weird like that.
Anyone point me to where to find more Francium?
I should have waited. I died like 15 times to that bastard Scryve Cruiser. But it's ok, it set the tone for my hatred of the Scryve. Wish you guys used the mineral scanner and mining instead of Mario World style resource collection.
You sound surprise. I had no doubt it would hit number one. A great franchise done by a great company who cares about their customers, of course you'd get something that would hit the top.
The game is fun as far as the space exploration, aliens, and the over all adventure goes. But two things I wish was different and could be changed if at all possible. 1. Make the planets twice or thrice as big. It just feels too small, maybe double or triple the size. Traveling around a small ball seems off. 2. Bring back mining using mineral scanning. It was part of the charm of Star Control 2 and Starflight. Running around a small ba
First I just like to say I am loving the game already. You guys did more than justice to a great franchise, you hit it out of the park. Been a customer since Galciv 1 and I have been a customer ever since. My question is. Where did you get the name Skyla for the commander? I haven't heard that name since the Forbidden Borders book series by W. Michael Gear. And last question is when will Adventure Studios be available? And how do Founders get th
So we can visit planet and mine it?

Is there any tutorial into how to create our own stories and adventure for others to play with? I know as a Founder, we should get the mod tools, how soon will that be available? Been waiting for the longest time to get this game. Just so excited. Wish they released a few days early for Founders.
Btw, is there going to be multiplayer beyond the supermelee? Co-op would be nice to have.
Quoting Achillus, reply 32 I loved Starflight. It was actually my first foray into space exploration game. I played the Genesis version and years later tried to play the PC version, but couldn't get into it because the graphic was just sooooooo sooooo dated.
You'll be able to make your own Aliens, Ships, Planets, Universes, and Campaigns/Stories for SCO, and then upload them for others to play with etc (through Steam Workshop). One of the reasons the game is taking a bit longer than the original plans (it was originally projected to be released next month at the 25th anniversary of SC2) is so that Stardock can iterate and perfect the designers for those aspects of gameplay.
Quoting chapel976, reply 25 or Starflight... Starflight is still one of my favourite games of all time. The story and twist was freaking awesome. There was clearly a lot of Starflight and SF2 love that went into the development of Star Control.<
But the principle objective of Origins itself is to establish, well, the Origins.
Can we call it the Bradverse instead?
I have a few high end Desktop and Laptops, but I'll post my weakest machine. It runs Super Melee, a bit sluggish for a few second, but then all good. i5-2400 8GB RAM 500GB 5400RPM HDD 1050TI 4GB RAM Windows 10 64bit Ver. 1709 I also have a few high end PC, but if you can get it to run on the PC above, it'll run great on the other ones. Note: PC above can run Shadow of War on High and some Ultra setting pretty great at 40+ fps.
Is there controller support?
Frog Boy, How open are you at this point to new ideas for aliens for Star Control Bradverse? And by the way, I love the ship designer. Will you be putting the ability to make objects automatically move like in Galactic Civ III? And will there be more parts? Also, is it possible to have a photo mode. And if it's also possible, can we make our own aliens? Thanks,
So glad you were able to get the Franchise. Stardock is probably the only company that could pull it off. And glad you got Paul and Fred to get back to their original story. Thanks Brad.
