Regardless, I am looking forward to seeing what the story of Origins is. But It could be possible to do the aliens of Star Control in Origin. Could follow how Star Trek split the timeline between the new movies and the Prime Universe. Example would be the Androsynth went back in time before Star Control 1 and altered the course of the timeline and create a new branching timeline for the Origin Universe. Hi all, Vil here. Been a fan of SC since it came out on Sega Genesis. Then got 2 for PC and eventually 3. I spent countless hours on the last two games. I still play sc2 time to time. Also been a fan of Starrock games since GalCiv. So im hoping for the best for this game. And this is the only time Ive been excited for a reboot. It works well with SC.

Would be so awesome if multiplayer coop was available. i don't know how it would work, but maybe some kind of even a community zone where each of us can meet and fly around.

hi guys, i have a question. Please don't take it as anything but a question. Why a prequel? And wouldn't a prequel limit you in some ways since we already know the future? unless we're dealing with a different alternate universe, wouldn't you be putting yourself in a box?
