I have put Google Bar on to check it out. Right now it wants to slow down Wincustomize while the popup illimator is on , but it runs better with it disabled. I have also went to other sites with it on and it works great. Thanks to the info. Duane

You may remember a few days ago I was having a problem with IE and WB and I got overly frustrated. Well after a lot of digging and some help from Stardock. I found that if I shut off Enable Third-Party Extentions that IE would work fine but I need some third party extentions to work. Anyway to make a long story short it was the popup blocker... PopThis...it was a popup blocker that was causing the problem. So I disabled it like I was told by Stardock. After disabiling it IE still did not work. S

I have XP. All I know is that with Enable Third-Party Extentions on IE does not work. I have went into the settings and removed the objects that were there and with no objects and turned back on IE crashes.

sig101 I have eight files, three unknown files and a damaged file in this folder along with a Real networks file and one Microsoft file along with two Shockwave files. The first 4 files I have no clue what they are but the others a clearly marked. Will it be safe to them and then turn on the Enable Third-Party Extentions? Duane

PROBLEM SOLVED! When everything else in windows xp was being skined by WB But only IE was acting up I was right the problem had to be with IE. So I went through every setting in IE. here is how I solved the problem With IE on go to Tools then click internet options, then click Advanced, then scroll down to Enable Third-Party Extentions, and make sure that the box is un-chec

I have just got done runing a full virus check, Adwear check, and ran spywear programs. Now all IE is doing Is when I try to type any thing is that the title bar accross the top unloads and the rest of IE stays skined for a few seconds before IE crashes. The rest of the system stays skined no problems. Thanks to all Duane

OK! now that I have got everyones attention. I want to appologize for sounding harsh. But I have made several request with stardock and on these boards being as patiant as I can and I did not get a straight answer from any one but to trun thing off that I don't have. Windowblinds does not work! I have installed and reinstalled. I can not get WB to work. Everything goes bad as soon as I turn on Internet Explorer. I try to enter an address or enter a word in a search engine. IE freezez after the first letter typed then promptly crashes. The same thing happens in Outlook Express too. I have no clue what is wrong I have bought earler versions of WB too and they didn't work eather. I should have know better. But if anyone can succesfully help me and get this pro

No matter what I do I can not use Internet Explorer with Windowblinds it crashes completely out. Then the warning screen ask if I want to send or not to send the error to Microsoft. Please help the main reason I got object desktop was for Windowblinds. I really do Appreciate all the help Duane

Thank You for your response. But it seems that there is no icons to turn off webblinds. So I did a .dll search to see if there were any files runing under webblinds and I could not find any. So I don't think webblinds is runing.

When I try to use Internet Explorer in XP Pro it unloads windowblinds in Internet Explorer only and everything else stays on. This happens when I try to enter an address in the address bar or in a search bar Windowblinds shuts in IE. Thanks Duane

After downloading WindowBlind skins and checking them out now my cursor disapers when I move the mouse and the cursor disapers every time I move it into a message box or over plan text. Is there a setting some where I need to change? Thanks For All The Help Duane P.S. The skin studio thing is a good idea because there are a lot of good skins from StyleXP that I really thought were quite good. But now with Objectdoc runing I am trying to find out what happned to all my CPU Bandwidth. [Message Edited]

Thanks for all the help every one. Sorry for not answering sooner but the World Poker Tour was on. Anyway the reason for the question is for one, Object Desk Top and window blinds is way better product and worth every dime I paid for it. I new about the hack but I didn't know if it would be safe to uninstall because of it. I have about 800megs of style skins to get rid of and I thought I just as well get rid of StyleXP too. Right now I am using StyleXP to change my skins. What Do I have to change to install DesktopX. From what I can see Window Blinds and the other stuff that wincustomize has to offer is way cooler.
