Sure go ahead and uninstall stylexp. No harm in leaving it either.

interesting, didn't know that, of course I never ran it, but I did remove it after my son installed it and hozed up WindowBlinds on me...

personally for the life of me I can not find one reason to pay someone for a hack that any 6 th grader could replicate with the info printed out..

Thanks for all the help every one. Sorry for not answering sooner but the World Poker Tour was on. Anyway the reason for the question is for one, Object Desk Top and window blinds is way better product and worth every dime I paid for it. I new about the hack but I didn't know if it would be safe to uninstall because of it. I have about 800megs of style skins to get rid of and I thought I just as well get rid of StyleXP too.

Again Thank To All

I may be burned in effigy for saying this, but I wouldn't get rid of all those skins if I were you. If for no other reason, keep them because you can convert the ones you like to WindowBlinds for your personal use with Skin Studio. And like Travis, I never had any problems with StyleXP conflicting with WB as long as they weren't both open at the same time. I only uninstalled it after I discovered how much better I liked WB. And I had no problems uninstalling it, by the way.

The skin studio thing is a good idea because there are a lot of good skins from StyleXP that I really thought were quite good. But now with Objectdoc runing I am trying to find out what happned to all my CPU Bandwidth.

I have actually never installed stylexp, but I had no problems with both a hacked uxtheme and windowblinds...as long as they both weren't running at the same time.

What docklets are you using? Weather, cpu monitor etc...?

That Was the one I turned off the weather and I am back up to speed. Thanks Tons.!!!

WindowBlinds doesn't use the uxtheme.dll........ it does it's own thing. Therefore, no conflict.

hmmmmm.... since this thread is about StyleXP, I wonder what happened to that little "lawsuit" against Stardock?

Oh well. Welcome to the world of WindowBlinds.
