no worries arcalian, all this "bah-ing" made me quite excited about SHEEP... ;)
BAH? daisy is dat you? ;)
no worries ladyterry - when u iz up to speed, come over and check da h'empire thread. maybe u iz joinin' one? ;)
sell techs for $ (BC/month) to the AIs (this is very lucrative on lower difficulties). build freighter and trade with the AI's build starbases and add the trade bonuses be nice to everyone (by giving techs) so they will trade with you start off with a + to economics. i iz a bit dim, but the first one is what got me through in the old dayz....
Apparently no where
datz da ANZAC spirit! LOL
When I left the Anzacs it was because I disagreed with their direction.
:SURPRISED: where waz da anzacs going? :)
actually i agree mikec - i'd like to care aboyt my ships too. i think GalCiv2 is gonna address this with ship design = individual looking ships :)
AND WHAT'S SO CUTE ABOUT WIDDLE SNOOKUMZ??? signed The Snookumz LOL LOL ;)
don't fret b121587h - i suspect the GalCiv Gold package, as an 'old game' will be very competitively priced to attract a new audience in order to spin that new audience into a fuller priced GalCiv2. ;)
THERE ARE TWO GALCIV2 THREADZ. FEEL LKE POSTING IT THERE? :)
renegade, from what i've read, said he used a political party mod to his advantage that was never flagged on submission. He denies hacking the code to submit the same game multiple times. more 'cheese' than 'cheat'? :notsure:
MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
oops split personality. ;)
i iz clarified. :)
as far as i know..... yes there are shipping charges for the CD the download for AP is 20MB or so dunno if the drengin.net special will apply to GalCiv2 :)
mmmmmm.....the requirements of evil 1. Morale - more tricky at higher levels, and more emphasis on morale as it equates to style of government. Would like to see a re-emphasis on 'keeping power' as a distraction to rampant expansionism, and the continual evolvement of the Terrans through necessary shifts in government style. 2. More 'organic' approach to start-up picks, perhaps using the Exclusive Trade Goods. eg Terran selects Diplomatic Translators at the start rather than +6
you could approach the game with more 'variety' rather than have it given to you....the RubeBoys (Realms Beyond) explored a lot of different ways to play...havin said that i do miss the old days when morale was always a problem and you got kicked out of office. maybe GC2 could look at morale a little more closely? ;)
one of the things i liked/like about GC is the fact that the programmers has some old fashioned habits of making a project with the minimum amount of code. GC has got leaner and faster rather than the other way round. obviously this has benefits for a on-line delivered product, but i was wondering whether GC's internal modular design would lead it to being developed in an external modular fashion.....with different modules suiting different situations/tech..and all combinable if you wanted the f
when did it start?
