Abby T 1: Too fast a pace. You're supposed to be talking to me, not reading to me. The last sentence... comical effect is overdone, IMHO. Skreev does not equal Skrive. Abby T 2: Same pace as above, uppity and youthful. Too youthful. I have the impression of dealing with a very young person, like 16 to 20 years old. I'd rather take over the command and send her back to cadet training, to make sure the human race survives. Amanda M: It sounds like having to read the text

Dungeons & Dragons (yeah, I know, authoritative in sci-fi) says: Humanoid: One head, two arms and two legs, usually medium or small. (Larger than medium becomes a giant).
I agree with IBNobody that the alien is up there on the coolness scale. On a side note, the biological-like eyes sunken in a metal casing remind me somewhat of General Grievous.
Enjoy the holidays. Be Merry, but get rest aplenty. For we will hound you mercilessly in 2016 :-)
Do you guys want to see some random events? Like a month of efficient engineers that causes your engine to lower your fuel consumption by 5% or "sudden alien virus contamination" that reduces your crew by 15% or smth like that. It is not a timed event like Pkunk Death March that we had in an original SC but rather some small events with good artwork and description that might add some flavor....
This I do not like. Would it pretty please be possible to have binary star systems? No, I'm not talking about star systems made up of 1's and 0's :-) Like in the real world? You could have fun with orbits and gravity, and it would be outlandish. For one, I'm a bit tired of always having the "Single star - X planets" trope.

I utterly disagree. You're asking me to pilot the ship, shoot and monitor the 1st battery, activate second ability and monitor 2nd battery, monitor the enemy ship, monitor their plasma bolt/missile/etc. This is not a space combat simulator. Every time we add something, we complexify. I don't want to play Wing Commander. This also automatically brings up the question of ship design. If I have 2 batteries to recharge, I need twice as m

One point I might add... Bragging rights are... for braggarts. They are an out-of-game reward for those that complete the game on a harder setting. In my case, I know very well that, once the game is released, I will probably play it alone (if there is a coop mode, with my GF), and never go on a forum again. I'm just not that kind of gamer. I don't feel the need to compete against others, I don't feel the need to

The reason why we don't see the male ones in SCII is because when Syra was destroyed, there was an all-female corps in space and so what few males they were able to save they kept VERY secure

I like immersion and realism. If you decide, coming out of high school, to just try a couple jobs here and there for 10 years, so you get a feel of what you like best, then you decide to pursue a career, guess what? You're not going to get those 10 years back so you can use them for your new career. No timed quest = no evolution = I'm being babied = I get bored. Life is an adventure. This game should be a
