^ I really don't understand your problem with "filler". It's not like you're forced to interact with it.
So you admit that you want to see planet TomWasHere? Noted. Because that planet is filler. Anyways... The game is set up in such a way that players are penalized for not partaking in the filler. Players will miss a sidequest or some cool item. I understand that your sta

When I say less filler, I don't intend to make the game easier. Unless you count running around fewer cloneworlds to be easier. I might hit the tech soft-cap faster (and require storyline advancements), but I don't plan on giving myself an insta-kill weapon.
I plan on making a mod to strip most of the filler from the game. If interacting with aliens and following the storyline is the key part of the game, I want more of it. :p

Here is my feedback... There’s no world editor tool. If you think the map design tools in various games you’ve played are rough, we have zilch, nada, nothing for creating worlds. They’re procedurally generated right now which might sound good to some but as everyone this year came to understand, procedurally generated worlds can be pretty bland. You really need a game designer in there t
Also, I assumed the Scryve was a very tall alien sitting on a throne. Is that not the case? That render looks like a short, stocky alien with no knee-joints?
They just rendered him sitting/manspreading. Just like Jeff (sans any manspreading).

I just have one thing to say... I WAS #$%^ING RIGHT! LEGS! TAKE THAT, VOLUSIANUS! :P EDIT: For those just joining us, Vol and I had a lengthy discussion a year ago about the Scryve artwork that was released. He saw a 4 arm alien. I saw a 2 arm, 2 leg manspreading a

It worked, amazingly enough. I am honestly impressed with my fellow forum members. Good questions all around.

Masterpiece games also have choices with delayed consequences. I truly hate delayed consequences if they are tied to in-game rewards. If you do X and it causes NPC Y to die two chapters down, fine. If it means you lose out on an achievement or a unique item, however... Fuck that!
The first mass effect was a very simple game and was just designed to hide it really well.
I disagree that it was designed to hide it really well. It was designed with filler in mind. Not particularly good filler either. I am currently playing ME1 for the first time, and I don't know if I will be able to finish it. All of those things you mentioned are apparent and are bothering me. Some, though, like plan
