Working on the January update. Lots to talk about. Question: On a scale from 1 to 10 where 10 is totally sanitized version (i.e. marketing friendly) and 1 = you get to hear arguments over which lighting model or details on cmake where do you guys fall on wanting to know stuff?
"1" would love to hear everything. :) Hearing the arguments, helps us understand what was alr

I just wanted to throw in a quick feedback on the music title. LOVE IT!! I have it playing on loop right now in my media player. Definitely loving it. Keep up the good work on that. Happy with the final choices of Super Melee. Makes sense to me.

If you guys have ever played Zelda (the very first game), the "Hearts" were like the Dots/Orbs. Each Heart was valuable. There was an emphasis on maintaining perfect health or life. Gaining new hearts and restoring heart was a big deal. With health/life BAR. it just feels like a gas tank or meter bar. You can't realize gauge the importance of anything- you just had to &#3

In the old SC2 game every crew felt VERY valuable. They were represented by DOTS for the shuttle. (those green bubbles). You definitely felt more like OMG One of my guys died feeling. The sense of "every green ball lives matter" feeling. :) When you're in super melee or space combat the crew were square dots. and
I think there's actually merit to having a 2d exploration map. Not an entire mode, but certainly something for minor tracking. I think having it be optional would be best. Hell, it could even come in a free patch.
Give players option for game play 'view' makes the game more enjoyable for different types of players. Why not expand your audience and player base if you have the

In viewing the Trailer, I think the minimap of the planet surface with icons on where resources are would be helpful. In the old game, we got a top down view that helped us avoid quakes and steer our shuttle towards the resources. To offset the "car driving" game view, would be nice if you could switch to a strategic mode of some sort where the planet is Flatten out on the screen and you can look top down and control the

1. Dynamic for sure. That offers a bit of a strategy game play based on your blunders during the battle. 2. Solo 1v1. I think its better to polish what works already rather than to spend time on something that is untested/unproven. 3. Zoomed out mode show all ships. Very similar to the old format. You show them all and as they come together you zoom closer in again shows

Reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6ntg47q_cM&feature=youtu.be I've mentioned this before in another posting along with some other members mentioning it as well. The green "bar" for the crew just looks like a Health Bar. It's not very representative of how many crew there are and doesn't feel like your crew are

I just realized that we bought founders pack from StarDock, which means when we get a steam key for the final product, I am concerned that our "reviews" are counted as "free product key" users. And most people won't necessarily take our reviews as legit when posting reviews on steam. What is StarDocks going to be doing about the Founder's Access keys and their reviews on Steam?

CivHunter, you wouldn't be able to find it on your Steam Client yet or at all until you get a key. There's no way your steam client will know that you're a founder. Unless you actually bought the founder's program through steam. I got mine directly from the Stardock Website. Checked my Stardock account and nothing there to download and no steam key yet.

You're right. I saw that in the email as well. It says this: "<span style="color: #222222; text-transform: none; line-height: normal; text-indent: 0px; letter-spacing: normal; font-family: 'Segoe UI', Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; word-spacing: 0px; float: none; display: inline !important; white-space: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; background-color: #ff

I read something about valve changing some developers steam key policy. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
It is up to us to create a convincing story line / backdrop for the planet.
My backstory RonPimpster's planet. It's a sex slave planet full of pleasures. Sex bots to buy! oh yea. Or one of those type of planets in reference to the Syreen and their Uniquely shaped Ship. :-) Planet where you might find a Jabba the Hut with a slave leia

I have question actually about how the 'lore' for this name a planet thing works. Usually when you visit planets, the naming of the planet is arbitrary to the explorer if there are nobody on the planet. So where do these names come from? Some crew member of yours says "let's call this XXXXX". Planets only have names for themselves already, if there are aliens or inhabitants living on them telling their names. Does

Yea fortify was to slow them down. Colonies were like your replenish crew after battles. The mines increase your credits or whatever resource it was to buy more ships. Otherwise your main base I think gave u some credits per turn but if u needed to build faster you need to find mines and expand. Was alot of fun. Also exploring the map for back doors or connecting nodes. Since some of the nodes don't connect but u see them there. An
