@Elestan
Stardock has applied for a number of trademarks that it doesn't need unless it's intending to use the SC2 aliens in its games. This contradicts assertions that it had no intention to use those aliens.
Purely retaliatory action. I'd even send them a nasty email or two (not really, but I could).
It is strange that there has been 0 info on GoP game since the announcement. Are F&P developing anything at all?
Developing a baseless resentment towards Stardock... That's about it.

That Pinthi dialogue soundtrack is my third favorite track out of all revealed ones. Just great! Though it's not dark enough for bad Pinthi... Unless they're not bad........

I didn't get strong impression that Items Trading system is getting added to SCO from the update like cuore did, but allusion to it was pretty significant. And since Brad cleared it up, we can all relax about it. I don't like the idea of sending a robot to the planet surface (even though it's more realistic). I'd also prefer there were a dozen of different Lander variants (maybe even stat-wise different for different gameplay styles or situations). How to make planet explorati
That makes no sense. Stardock owns no rights to the original games, so how can they want to transfer anything? If they did, in fact, own the rights then why-oh-why are they not using the original lore, which everyone wants?
For moral reasons. The original lore is FaP's concoction and they want to leave it that way. It's been stated numerous times for the past 4 years. They (Stardock) also want to put it in writin

Nevermind. Read the Discord. Get a lunch with them and clear things up. Wish you the best in resolving this nonsensical situation!

Yeah, except planet scanning in SCO has nothing to do with VR. It's a chore to click a button to initialize it. It'll be even bigger chore when one decides to explore every planet they come across. It'll be no fun having to press it every.single.time. But it might be just me. I don't even have a password on my home PC, 'cause even logging into Windows everyday at work is a chore for me.

But they already do autofire in SCO. Like Cruiser point defense or Tywom's defense drones... Do you wanna stop your extrapolation already?... :P

If there's no other purpose rather than selling them for $ then why not?.. If there is, like trading minerals for items, then you have to have a button.

It is. The analogy would be using your garage door opener vs pressing a button to get money on your account every 2 weeks. Two are not even in the same zip code. ;)
For the record, scanning yourself added to the anticipation. It couldn't scan fast enough!
What does it mean - "scanning yourself"? Pressing the button? The whole anticipation thing happens during scan. The button only delays it for no reason. Wouldn't you think that it's a bit too much extra coding for SCO scope? P.S. You know, you don't need to double space after each period. You're not typing it on the typewriter... or are you?..
