^ Pics or didn't happen. XD

What I hate is when something is timed, but you are never given even a notion of it. It also fails without telling you that. You only find out about it after you check your quest log and there's red mark over it... WTF happened, game? Normally, you're 5-10 saves into the game after the fail trigger too. Or it's like, yeah I'm about to go to that place where the some critical situation unfolds, only I'll swing by this one spot to complete one little s
^ Excuse me, my pale blue half-syreen half-human boy disagrees. SC2 had at least ONE categorically humanoid race that you could interact and "interact" with.
The moment I loved was the voice of the Earth Starbase commander when I came back from a long expedition telling me about the diplomatic and scientific progress we've made according to my actions during the expedition. It gave me enough sense of accomplishment that I wanted to go back out there to continue my work on building the Alliance of Free Stars.
^ As mini-bosses. yes. I'd love to have those and figure out how and which alien ship to beat them with.
Why not just release a Star Control loot crate then? I'd get it if it had a nice colorful laminated map, a T-shirt and some alien figurine.
I have an idea to share, but I'm afraid it's way too complicated/insignificant to implement. Still, here goes nothing: Let the planets have day/night hemispheres. That means that the planets like Mercury will have different stats for each hemisphere. When the daylight side will have raging volcanoes, lava streams and lotsa tectonic activity, the dark side will have cold rock and "exploration friendly" weather. Add rotation to the planets and you get your ancient
^ I'm looking at SC2 planets and alien design and it clashes alot more than new SC to me. If anything, the new SC design is more consistent. I'd wait for 3D images of both planets and aliens and make a final judgement then, rather than raising the alarms from looking at literally 2 concept pictures.
Super happy to be involved. Glad to see some humanoids got in here, and even more glad to see the design doc state that there will be NO HUMANOID ALIENS ALLOWED! Weeee!
No humanoids - meaning no this: :(
I dunno, I only have this: [e digicons]>_>[/e]
I, for one, like cartoonish art style. I'm more than sure it won't look as cartoonish as in concept JPEGs when transferred into 3D.
^ Good idea. [e digicons]:D[/e]
I don't have this image in my zip?..
^ Oh I'm fine with that. That was actually pretty fun to discover the first time. Also, timed events like this on the planets would be cool too.
^ But we like the concept... :(
ME1 planet exploration was atrocious and unrewarding.
I'm exactly the same way IBN. The Kohr-Ah death march killed all the fun for me in SC2. And I don't like keeping 8435 saves to roll back and replay the same thing over again.
I'd like some loot that'll either be plug and play for my ship/lander or allow for a research of a better equipment. Also, ancient ruins/deserted labs for lore and treasure maps is pretty exciting too.
Thank you. [e digicons]B)[/e]
