have just checked my w.e.s is 5.1, base score and 5.3 for graphics. and it does support aero.

am running windows 7 home premium and have tried to do windows experiance index and am not sure what you mean by aero turned on that could be the key because that was part of the message.

according to my pc it says that you cannot run it, if you can do you know how. Have been into system and tried there.

have justinstalled windows 7 home premium os and installed impulse went to download dreams went to apply it, message came up desktop windows manager does not seem to be active, what is wrong and can i fix it.

have downloaded a dream that needs to open via winzip, when done so, cannot or will not go onto the list at the bottom for some reason same applies to boot vista, anyone help.

have tried the new update to deskscapes and the new interface is fantastic but i only can get the stardock dreams and not any dreams that i downloaded of which there are over 40 does anyone know how to get into the folder where the downloded dreams are, or where do i click to get into these dreams and put them on the new interface? much obliged

Does not matter, have installed the latest version of bootskin, and works up to now anyway, have noticed that when you apply it message window says english united kingdom. So problem solved hopefully. Think it will because also noticed when you apply it says such and such has been applied, before it used to revert back to windows default in the applied window, now the picture you have applied stays in the applied window, if you know what i mean. Cheers everyone.

I was referring to that upon applying bootskin vista as was suggested to me, ie. change the language to us english my computer would not boot up at all, the only keys that worked were the alt + ctl + del keys and nothing else, f8 f12 or del keys failed to work and i had to completely reinstall windows vista via my old hdd that i still had, if i had not the other hdd it may have cost 100s of pounds to put right. Now if say someone else did the same and was not as lucky o

I think this application is dangerous, and really urge those who work for stardock who come on the community site to really think about going to work and holding a meeting and discussing the above, maybe to putting a warning on the bootskin installation page that this application is dangerous and to install it is at the persons own responsibility, not to do so in my opinion is being irrresponsible to the public. This is serious stuff. What do others think, am i right or am i wrong.

no it does not work, and i had to do a reinstall as well, ie complete reinstall of windows vista so am really annoyed, this application is absolute rubbish, can not even give a 1/10. for this heap of rubbish.

it just says english ( united kingdom ) thats all. you can change the settings so the simple answer is yes.

have updated version 1.02.046 and it still does not work, stardock does not answer neither does the community, so it begs the question. Is this application the worst in the computer world to ever run, answers on a postage stamp.

Hi. bootskin does not work, have put in a request about 8 weeks now and still no joy.Stardock must be very unhappy about this particular programme, because to start with they tried to suggest things to try and they all failed, now i think they have given up, have not heard from them for about 5 weeks now. Do any one else have this trouble.

Forgive the ignorance but is this w7, windows internet explorer 7 beta version that windows are currently trying out, because that would explain why mine doesnt work on it. If so how do you uninstall this w7, have tried but not worked it out yet.

Am new on here. Installed bootskin pro. Downloaded some skins applied windy willows, everything says has been applied and installed correctly, however on restart nothing has changed, still get windows default. the version is 1.01.038, now if you go into bootskin pro and click on about it says 1.01.024, also not every time I have message this version is incompatible, am slightly confused, am not a beginner but not experianced either. Could someone help please. Have windows vista home prem
