will not apply in BootSkin Stardock Forums

have installed version no 1.01.038 it says installed successfully, on downloading bootskin message says bootskin has been applied, come out of bootskin, then go back into bootskin the downloaded bootskin that i installed and applied, there is no sign of it, and has reverted back to windows default, also have tried the other free bootskins that came with the installation, and exactly the same thing applies as above. anyone help. ps am on vista hp 64 bit oem

its happened to me, all you have to do is go back into deskscapes click on dream you want and it will automatically start again, if not just click on dream and restart your computer that will work, this will happen periodically, so do either or both and it will work fine.

yes my pc isnt the best, thats the fault of company not mine, am doing my best with the limited knowledge i have and am getting there, still think its unimpressive up to now, maybe its you lot that are easily satisfied, and be a little bit more critical of sd.

have tried it, not impressed. the clock dont work on quest and you have to apply packages from wb and ip, so its not one click but many.

gave mycolours a try and for some reason it has only partially applied ie. icons and wallpaper have applied but not the rest of it, eg wbs will not work with it, any suggestions.

had the same problem, you may need to get a patch from support to uninstall completely, delete wb everywhere you have it,then reinstall it should ask you to activate if done correctly, should work after that, if what the others have suggested do not workthat is by using impulse instead of sdc.

yes it does, you need to go via impulse, will not work via od, thats my experiance anyway.

on sdc there is an update 3.99 a or q cant tell which letter [b].064 anyone tried it whether its compatible with 64 bit vista. is this the one they are talking about ie beta version to ip4.

have just received a link to an old version of ip which is 3.20a[rc] .033, have installed and working fine. must say am surprised they answered so quick, expected to take at least 2 days, give that a try. now i dont mind waiting for the new icon packager 4 version.

i dont beleive they do, have uninstalled 3.99.146 and will wait for the 4.0 version to come out.

hello dizplaced, you have almost identical com. specs. as me, have installed version 3.99.146, does not work at all only takes the icon skin off, you have to do system restore to get them back, icon packager 4 should resolve these problems, am told. have to be patient i suppose. should be out soon.
