Im sorry, download is 40$, retail is 50$. What good **** are you smoking and where can i get some?
$40 is the normal price for the retail edition, it is the collector's edtion that is around $50 If you payed $50 American for the normal edition, then you got ripped off. Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern is decent, although it is much more science fiction than fantasy. I especially like the way it deals with time travel. Also, the Dinotopia books are amazing. They have some incredible art work, all done by author himself. While story is fairly good, it is the art that is the best part. Thanks for the recomended order for the Shannara series, I have read a fe

Maybe he shouldn't have called you an i
Any chance of using the race 'packs' you plan to split this mod into to release 2.5 quicker? You could release the 'base' mod with one or two race 'packs' and then release each race as you update them for Entrenchment. Then after you have them all done you can release the all-in-one mod option that you said you plan to have.
The reason game makers don't like piracy is because they want money for their work. Abandonware by definition gives its makers no money. The result of pirating abandonware is that there is not even a potential for loss of money by those who made it. To use the piracy = theft comparison many people use, pirating adandonware would be like someone taking something after you throw it away.
Okay, I'll agree that your logic is messed up and that sums it up. This is a strategy-based RPG game meant to use your heros to distroy the other team (whether it be by killing them off or distroying there structures). This is not a RTS game where you actually use strategy to build your own base in order to distroy the enemy base. Lets keep those 2 things in mind here as my reference is to the way they have this game developed currently and not your dulsional asp
WOW ... first of all im the originator of this post so like half the post you made is anger pointed in the wrong direction .
Sorry about that, fixed my post.
plz note how this is not a standard rts and you dont manage your macro/micro as much , starcraft is superior to the game made with a lot of different pros/cons to each unit and a huge amount of strats applied to each race ... its also superior due to player skill having more of a say in the game ... and after all this 2 more races in starcraft that was balanced would have made it into an even better game
Not relevant to what I said
Your character selectio
Doesn't take a lot of digging to find out the judge is a member of Swedish Association for Copyright. It's not that far a stretch to say there's a conflict of interest there.
1. Your character selection is very small. For this type of game, it really should be much larger or at least twice it's size so that it doesn't feel like it's bland after playing it for several days. It almost reminds me of the original Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter which is not a good thing since this is supposed to be something much better.

the judge admitted he was a member of copyright-protection organizations.
Well, it does explain how the Pirate Bay got found guilty with the prosecution's total lack of competance(and solid evidence from what I have read). I don't think any honest person, even the most anti-pirate ones, can deny that this is a conflict of interest and that there needs to a retrial with a neutral judge. Edit: Just did a little checking and <a href="http:/

I wish Gamestop the worst of luck restocking. It would be nice if Stardock didn't let Gamestop have any more copies until they apologize, but I don't see that as being relalistic.
To the OP: Just be glad you were not in the beta where Oak's Spirits had over 2k+ health. Also, it sounds like you need to play an Oak or Erebus against a good Regulus player from the beta. That should get rid of all your complaints about them being overpowered and better than any assassin.
It would be fixed by having the posibility to backup the patch downloaded by Impulse, but Impulse prevents this by design. They are trying to avoid the possible spread of functional standalone patches from legit users and this takes me to the question about customers being treated as pirates. In reality Stardock do not trust on we, legal customers. They do not trust on Impulse certificated legal customers neither. If not, why not enable a "backup patch" option in Impulse and with this
If you are going to shoot for the sky, might as well toss in wanting it to have the modability of Freelancer(Some of the stuff for it is just insane compared to the base game). As long as we are wishing, toss in some FPS action as well.(at the very least it would be nice for boarding and capturing large ships)
Okay - let's presume the rate is 0%, can we get better games?
As it is Stardock ignores the pirates when making their games. So while having no piracy would be nice, I don't see it causing a noticable increase in game quality. Stardock would be happy for sure, but I think the biggest result would be Stardock taking more risks on the types of games it publishes/develops.
How many turrets can a ship have, and of what sizes, and how many barrels per turret, if any? Its possible that there is a limit on weapon hardpoints per model, but I do not know the exact numbers. The "official" word is 10 firing points per weapon so 30 total, however modders have been able to go above 10 without side effects. It may be 30 global spread out however among all weapons, or it just might be a bit higher than 30.[/quote
