BakerStreet, We've been lucky that we haven't had a situation at all yet. I hope we never do! This procedure I spoke of was one recommended to me by 2 very notable industry experts, Mr. Jim Halsey and Mr. Joel A. Katz. Right or wrong or good or bad I don't know for sure. Their success and following in the industry were enough for me. Either way, if it ever comes up I'm going to let them do the fighting! <im

Here I go again. We are involved in a rather large undertaking of a band in the Rock-n-Roll World. I don't know about the mailing part BUT in our case if you write a song you CAN take it to the local post office and have the postmaster stamp it with the official postmaster dated stamp on the document itself and you're done. You CAN sue you CAN protect it to the fullest extent of the law. We have done this on several occasions with the blessing of one of the biggest managment groups in the indust

This just makes me FURIOUS!! Have these guys really "Created" anything on their own? I mean, StyleXP is a based on a HACKED uxtheme.dll which was "created" by Microsoft! Seems to me they'll stop at nothing. Twisted business principals is simply something that can't be tolerated! Bottom line: It's theft. They are simply stealing and profiting from Stardock's property. > ><img src="http://images.star

ttchief, I can't guarantee this but I believe Webblinds is obsolete now and most of its features either have been or are going to be incorporated into WindowBlinds. I know that the new toolbar buttons feature for example are in WindowBlinds now which was one of the features of Webblinds. The other thing was it could give Internet Explorer a different skin than the skin applied to the system. That has been accomodated through the Windowblinds advanced configuration via the "Per Application settin

Zn40, CorelDraw is a Vector based program. Designed primarily for drawing. In other words if you wanted to do a lot of Raster type images (jpg, bmp, gif, png) Photoshop is more geared for that. Styl Skinner, As far as being worth the upgrade... I really think that it would depend totally on whether use the new features. I upgraded but the biggest NEW helpfull thing for what I do is the style nesting and also new is the "Text on Path" thing so you can make your text follow a path. Other

Thanks Grayhaze for starting this thread. Although, I'll be a day late for my own funeral it never feels too late here at WC. I've been using Wblinds since 1.x and a follower ever since. Those that aren't aware of where it was then and where it is now have a hard time understanding the significance of Brad's vision and all those around him. Let's face it, the ONLY thing I'm aware of before WindowBlinds were "Themes". These themes were nothing more than a preset color scheme a wallpaper and in so

DANG, doesn't ANYONE understand the word RESPECT anymore? I'm really sorry to hear that Z71, yes it's an honor to be asked that, when they are being truly honorable. These people were being nice in a manipulative sense. Thinking they are being respectful turns out to be a set up! Sheesh. Hang in there, you're truly one of the best.

I can't even begin to put into words how angry I get when I see this stuff. Geeez, especially when done to "One of the Fam". I just wanna pinch somebody's head off (there's). I'm glad we're resourceful enough to SOMETHING. I agree with BakerStreet....AGAIN... I think as these other nations become more prevelant on the web we're going to have some real issues with it.

Oooohhhhh! duh! he,he Yes, I agree. I can even see the potential of this developing into a total Interface development platform in the future. Also, if you are a systems programmer or in backend development or whatever, you've already spent $499 just to get started. Like many of the people in the skinning and interface enhancement/development community, I always look at things from a "Visionary" type perspective. A new skin starts out as a vision. From that perspective Brad is cutting us a heck

I was just thinking (Always stings) about a the different versions. Would it be possible to have the $129 "Pro" version limit the size of executable that it will produce? This would limit what one could do with it to just making smaller "Components", like a fish to swim on moms desktop. Then have the $499 "Developer" version that would provide the capability and licensing for full and unlimited development. That way an enthusiast has a place to start with the potential to step up should his
