Seems no matter what I do, the link above still reports that port 135 is "Open". I've applied the patch, changed the registry entry for DCOM service, even used DCOM config to disable and it still says...."OPEN". Am I suffering from another bout of "headuperectus" or just is it just full-blown Dumass Inc.?

I go with Frogboy on this one all the way. It seems funny to me that the same people that complain about paying for "intellectual property" are the same people that are happy paying $30.00 for 30 Softdrinks and the total true cost of each one is about .03 cents. I have to go with Nero also. I used Roxio since early version 4 when it was still Adaptecs product. I switched to Nero earlier this year because of constant problems, and my problems went away. Also, when I installed Neros "InCD" (DirectCD) I had to rid my system of all the Roxio leftover stuff, I became very disappointed in the number of their files left on my system (In addition to what WinXP installed). I've been using this e-mailer for 2 or 3 years now and it has been flawless! It helps prevent virus infection because the attatchments are separated and stored in a different folder. Also, and I think this is big, you can check your mail on the server and decide whether you even want it or not.
