Java, that all depends on whether feline meows as much as my cat does. Hairballs, thankfully, aren't an issue (yet). Unless you meant feline's hairballs. I can't comment on that. Java... Eight O'Clock coffee is decent, but they haven't gotten the coffee bag thing down. The Folgers ones are better. My only thought is that you'd need to design icons specifically for this app. Most (well, many) icons already available would start looking really squirrely if you changed their tint or transparency. Just a thought.
