/me The problem with online college is you don't have an experienced teacher to be there for you like you would in a classroom.

/me Spanning comes in handy when putting a program onto a floppies. Why not a disk? It is a re-writeable thing. /me The self extractor comes in handy when zipping cursors and putting the exe in the cursorxp zip. Wincustomize will upload an exe file if it is zipped. It also makes it a lot easier for anyone that wants to use the .cur/.ani files to have them unzipped into a folder in the windows cursor folder. Just plain old madness running rampant!
Never thought about that feature, paxx. Does it allow spanning?
I wholeheartly agree with princess. There is that male dominated problem though. I would like to make more female oriented windowblind themes but the bottom line is, time spent is better spent on a theme that might get downloaded. Perhaps if there was a special catagory for female themes then it might get filled. [subliminal hint T-man]
A+ test questions can be found online. For 150 dollars you can go take the test without going to school. There are multiple phases of the testing but the A+ is the baby step on becoming an expert. One question on the A+ test asks where the recyle bin is or what happens when it is emptied. The recyle bin is on the desktop and the icon changes. Wrong answer
Isn't Gozilla spyware?
I went looking for that skin and came across an interesting page. https://www.joeuser.com/Articles/Theyearinskinning.html

I think Object Zip is tied into skin downloads. When I download any other zip it opens in WInzip but Windowblinds is unzipped automatically. I don't know what does that but I LIKE IT.
I would wager that the person/persons that answered 1: What's a computer? knows more than the ones that answered 4: I am an expert.
So being fluent in typonese is a must trait for an expert computer user? Sorry but I really have to smile when anyone says they are expert or professional at anything.
I do! I do! It is called a wavy line. Mostly used following CIAO ~~~ which means bye
Curious how many know what ~ is called?
I see there are many expert computer users here. Does Expert include the abilities to work inside the machine? Wonder how many expert computer users are A+ certified.
I would say give the subscription time to get situated. If that doesn't work then email Stardock. They are very good at helping with glitches.
He threw all his Playboy magazines because Billie Joe was gay.
You might consider that Object Zip is included in Object Desktop and favortism is top priority here. Don't get me started on skin ratings
Sounds like you set a wallpaper as a desktop item and not desktop back. It has been a couple years since I used an active desktop so don't remember how to remove an item. I would guess right click and delete it.
Lurking in multiple channels is BOGUS! Just the concept of Lurking is BOGUS! Anyone that lurks in multiple channels is therefore BOGUS! Yes, with mIRC or Pirch you can set an Event to notify, but that is BOGUS! also ON JOIN:#:/runscript [LURKING] $nick
WindowsXP from a friend. Hmmmm. What DavidK said is Windowblinds skins need Windowblinds installed, DesktopX skins needs DesktopX installed, etc. Note: Stardock doesn't particularly like friends to share their programs. If you get the meaning
Would this thread be considered full of useless banter? Not everyone wants to join a chat room but just wants to post in a db. I been to the wincustomize room and it was full of lurkers that were connected but mute. Very aggravating going to a room full of ppl that won't say a word.
Masks work best during Halloween. Sorry couldn't pass that up
Simply put, Treeview makes a folder act like the Treeview of Explorer.
I just wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to come here and share your thoughts. Every comment, either here or at my skins; good or bad, has added to the quality of my life and that I am ever so grateful for.
I noticed a registry entry for a rainmeter and was wondering where I acquired that. Thanks for this thread because it had me baffled. I had to uninstall Litestep because I am too stupid to work it. Would it be safe to remove the rainmeter from the registry or is that used by other programs?
