If your comment goes unanswered it more than likely is because no one knows the answer. I usually post something in threads that have zero posts just so the person doesn't feel left out. This is my don't know but recognise your comment posting. Hang in there someone may come along that knows. You also don't need to start a new thread. Believe you me someone read your last one

Also, the newest release of SkinStudio is a beta so that more than likely won't be available in the free version. This version has the new windowblind features added to the previews.

Weird I say, weird. A couple possible causes: 1: Bad Windowblind installation 2: Bad theme download 3: Too many hot totties after work If the skin is showing in the preview of the Display then it should load. Unless their are multiple folders inside the skins folder and it is not reading the skin properly. I don't know for sure. You could try to narrow the problem down by loading the skin another way and see if that works. Display > Appearence > Windowblinds

You can also put a shortcut to it in the quicklaunch menu. or You could make a new toolbar with your frequent used programs or You could install Tablaunchpad and have everything right there all the time just for the taking.

LogonStudio Stardock LogonStudio allows Windows XP users to edit, change, and apply new logon screens. LogonStudio comes built with a visual editor to make it easy to create your own logons which can then be uploaded to websites to be used by others users. LogonStudio uses .logonxp files rather than requiring users to replace their actual logonui.exe. LogonStudio is free. Click here to give it a try. https://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/

It is a window with blinds that open and close. The flower box should be on the outside of the window but doesn't work well. The bottom part of the flower box is part of the menu back. Both parts by themselves seem to work alright but together they are much better. A blue sky seems to be the only scene I could find that looks OK when the blind is open. Sunsets look OK too but too orange. Perhaps I could get a better rating than a 5 on this updated version. Perhaps not <img src="h

Elfkura , Just so you don't think I am stealing your idea here is a graphic for a skin I am updating. http://users2.ev1.net/~sallyh/Frame%20Top.bmp I can't verify it but the graphic has been made for a couple weeks now.

I went looking to see what crosshairs look like and found this site http://www.bullseyecrosshairs.com/index.htm that has over 500 crosshairs. Looking at the different designs gave me an idea of what crosshairs look like. After the project I am working on is finished, I would like to do a set of crosshair cursors. Looks like that would be a nice project to do. Thanks for the tip.

Being able to make a simple skin is not as easy as one would think it would be. I have been trying since I started skinning and to date have not been successful. I would recommend to keep your simplistic design style and just embelish on them a bit. The highest rated/downloaded skins are the simple designs.

Guess I better put my arthritic two cents in. I don't like to admit my age however I was born in 1954 Truthfully, the old saying "it is not how old you are but how old you feel" is true to the point. If you like to make desktop themes then nothing should stop you. Photoshop is good but the trial version has many features turned off. I went through the long download only to be disapointed that

I think I know~~~ Win-zip is one of those programs that does it's own thing in it's own time and doesn't require an icon. Most of the functions are right click and zip this or zip and email that and all those things. CLicking an icon to open the program seems unneeded.
