3.95 adds new parts that are skinned like the logoff dialogs. Adding those seems to have sacrificed parts that don't skin any longer like the backgrounds. Dialog, toolbar, MDI, etc doesn't skin anymore. IMO this version should be called Windowblinds ME and the next version made instead of this one.
Ok will do as soon as I install it again. I am using 3.5 because all the parts skin and having many not showing in the beta was driving me crazy. One particular was looked at by David and he said that was a global problem and was not working on other skins. THe panel back first frame.
Internet explorer and the new version of windowblinds has a skinning issue. IE works but doesn't skin half the parts. NOt one version of wb 4 has worked to date. Long live 3.5!

Interesting way of doing walls. An artist drawing the wall onto paper and then scanning it sounds like a good way if it works. I have always wondered how many of the authors that submit work here have a degree in graphic design or went to college to become an artist. /me wishes she could turn back time and relive her life.

Since the rating system is stuck in time, What if an author puts in the skin comment not to judge the skin by the outdated/flawed ratings that the skin shows. This being for the new ppl or the ones that don't know better. or is that area censored to protect the reasoning behind leaving the system the way it is. I would wager a guess it remains the way it is for bandwidth reason.
I can see now that trying to make suggestions for a positive change is a waste of time. Pushing a positive/constructive view that is prevalent here appears to be a one sided issue. I will no longer make any kind of suggestion or bring this matter up. However, 2 years is a long time to keep one's head buried in the sand but if that is policy then such is life. It is not my server so carry on or stay still.
Sounds like a nice idea. A bit of a resouce hog but nice. No idea if that could be done.
If you are running Webblinds the setting must be the very top setting, Use classic or windowblinds.
Interesting , Sad and yet hard to believe . For a Company and a program that is based around change and not wanting to change their site policies is a tragedy. Delicious, why do you bring this subject up every couple weeks for? Someone that continues to knock on your door in the middle of the night will eventually get you up to answer it. There has been very indepth/good comments made here and that proves that there is a need and desire for a change. It takes much longer to make a skin and for someone to be able to come in and "dis" it with a low rating is wrong. The rating structure should prevent that from happening

Oh No! Since Jafo posted my skin ratings I have been perplexed. The rating work like this: If there are two ratings, a 1 and a 10 then the skin is rated 5. This curve is OK I guess. It would seem more beneficial if there was something coded into the web page by the rating thing to spur more ppl to make a rating. Like, Please take the time to rate this skin to assur

Sorry can't help with logons screens because I am still trying to understand why logon screens and screensavers are used. Screensavers at a work place as something to look at instead of the clock is understandable but a logon screen?
