I stand by what I said the first time. Your assuming she meant the whole race. And again...she is entitled to her opinion. Where the argument can be made that just because of a few bad ones is doesn't make the whole race bad...a few good ones doesn't make a whole race good either.

Personally, I treat each person according to their behavior. But based on my personal experiences...like it or not...some races are just plain worthless. If saying that is not "PC"...fine...I don't subscribe to this whole pc thing...never did. I see things for what they are based on my own experience not on fantasy.

Even though she has clarified now due to the backlash comments, that is exactly what she said in the post.

She called out the entire race.  She didn't specify the extremists or the bad apples.  No one needs to assume anything from that statement, she laid it out in black and white.  The only thing that could be taken out of that statement is that Vampothika is sick to death of all Arabs because the are arrogant, hateful and violent.

As it's been pointed out to me many, many times, one MUST be very careful how one articulates their opinions on a forum.

You are in a pub.  You tell your mates around you you hate those stinking [insert race/gender/religion/whatever here]...and they nod and wink in agreement.  Your mates know you mouth off when half pissed/whatever and besides....if those 'others' sitting in the corner get uptight...you have a glass you can 'use'......

On the net, on a forum on the net you ASSUME your audience is "with you" and if they are not, well, you really don't care a toss, anyway, do you.  You don't even NEED that 'glass'.....

Heck, just look at the mods here at Wincustomize.  No, they're not all  'WASPs'.  And if you browse through the member listings [as I sometimes need to] you'll see every nation represented in our 4.3 million.  Yes, many are from the USA, and many more have English as a first language, but many are neither, too.

Adminning a site such as this means I [we] don't care WHERE people are from, I [we] only care about how they conduct themselves when they are here.

And just how, based on here post alone, were you able to infer that?  That post wasn't open to interpretation.  If it had been stated like this:

Then it would be a whole different story.  But it isn't.  Because she didn't.

Why?  People are allowed to have discussions.  It's what makes this place somewhat nice.  You get to see a multitude of replies/reactions to the things that you "say".  It's one of the things that makes the net interesting.

Vampothika probably would have gotten away with her "colorful" comment around her friends/family but when you put that shit out on the net, someone is going to call you out on it.

I have said things I wished I'd said differently, but nothing on the level of what she laid out in the forum.  And if you think that was a "mistyped" statement, you're on something.  She replied due to the negative response her comment garnered her.  I'm sure she hoped others would have jumped aboard with that comment, but they didn't so she needed to save face.

Sure, let's just cover up the fact that someone (a "Master" no less") made a racist comment.  A comment about a people she probably has no real knowledge of other than what she see's on the teli and reads in the paper.  I think she bloody well DOES have to justify what she wrote.  Anyone who takes a stance like that better damn well justify it or they just end up sounding like ignorant fucktards.
