hi,

Great mod but i have some prob with it.

It seem that player IA not work properly.

No one of any frigate and light fighter player's auto attak any ennemis. Only carrier and fighter/bomber squadron work fine and auto attak any ennemis ship.

I must order attak or use ability for eatch frigate/fighter for they'r working.

Auto attak set are on, but nothing hapen

They just stay do nothing antil they'r anihilated.

it worked when i changed the scout sounds, but when i edited the S_Frigate_PhaDeployed .entity files to use new sound files that i put in the sound folder, it didn't work and the droids didn't make sounds at all

Well, probably you also need to edit "SoundEffects" file, sorry for delayed reply.

Banthracis: Currently I've got 22 total 1g, 2g,3g droids from a single original nanite drone, and these guys replace themselves as fast as they die. Let me know if I got the mechanic behind this wrong

The mechanic is (per 1 nanite launch):

Seed      > 4 droids 1G

Droid 1G > 3 droids 2G

Droid 2G > 3 droids 3G

Droid 3G > only nanites                                  SORRY FOR DELAYED ANSWER

 

loooseer: I find, the music is not so good

You may turn it off. Do you prefer vanilla music, or you just don't like that in mod?

Hello!!!

It's Released! :star:   Unfortunately I have some problems with internet, so I could upload it only to filefactory :S , I'll try to reupload it to more comfortable host soon.

What's new in 2.1 version:

  • balanced pirates.
  • more research levels and higher weaponry research cost. In summary, weapon researches give higher total percentage  of development then others.
  • more planet stage levels.
  • more planet subtypes depending on its size, new textures. New star textures from "Celestia Motherlode".
  • whole Sol system from "Sol-System-Mod" or "Celestial Bodies" mod.
  • light particle remake for Advent.
  • Remnant's light rebalance (thanks to Banthracis replies).

Recently i Played this mod,well its really good except the fact that I played FFA against 4 Cruel AIs and.. could you tell me if the cruel ai has some armor bonus or any other type of bonus?

 

I got rushed with Enforcers at something like 10 mins and later I could not defeat enemies eventhough I had 40 destra fully upgraded crusaders and my enemy had something like 17 enforcers.I mean,wtf?40 vs 17?he had 10 carriers I had even more.

 

I spammed bombers and fighter to counter vasari carrier spamm,to no avail.Tried even capital ship spamm and many other counters to carriers.Are vasari meant to be exterminating nutshells?

 

And the only thing that saved me for a long time was the resource focus research.The new version does not have that awesome upgrade unfrotunately.How am I supposed to fight cruel AI?

 

lastly,those space stations are not good either,it takes a late game army to defeat it.The problem is its high reg and nasty drones that do 20 damage are too much

 

Other than this,its a great mod.

I have never seen any adjustments that affect AI difficulty parameters in files. If they exist, I don't know about them, thereby I didn't modify them.

Hmm, that's astonishing o_O .What do you mean by "fully upgraded", that you have studied all the researches related to it?

As all of weaponry upgrades are altered proportionally, besides of hull ones (they were not changed)  so, as I think, It simply couldn't break the balance so dramatically. By the way, if it were Remnants, they could cooldown Destra's energy weapons.

Advent easily can render it innocuous by their psi abilities!

Other than this,its a great mod.

Space stations aren't too bad, I think ~300 supply points worth of ships will do it. They're basically just half upgraded starbases. As aplos suggesed, stuns work wonders on em.

Or if you're Dark Remnants, the droids work very well vs those drones. Well at least in 2.01 =D

Awesome mod, the first and only we have downloaded and we really enjoy it. Noticed a bit of hate towards the music but it's atmospheric and very fitting. Great job and thankyou.

I have two questions:

1. is there anyway of making your maps an independent mod so i can stack it with other mods?  Your maps are absolutely wonderful.

2. The title music is beautiful.  Who is the composer and what is the title?

I can't answer 1, since it depends on the changes made by this mod and the mod you want to stack it with. Aplos would have to tell you exactly what files he's modified.

Very nice mod!

 

So when will you release a galaxy forge set so we can build our own maps :inlove:

 

 

On a balance note - the advent resource focus gets rediculous on any planets with 4+ extractors of the same type at max research.  I was getting more resources then money by a factor of 3!  Not sure if it should be THAT strong.  But it does add incentive to get those planets with multiple resource rocks....

i think jumping between stars takes too long, i sent a scout to a star in a 3-star random map and 5 minutes later i checked and it still hadn't arrived
