Work on your PR, Stardock !

Once in a while Stardock gets bad publicity at Reddit.

#1: Supposedly CEO's porsche double parked at 'disabled' space: (I can't verify if it's his porshe)

#2:

It comes naturally for some people, but I guess others may need to specifically train it.

It seems to me it's just parked over 2 regular parking spaces?

EDIT: Oh, there's a blue line under the porsche too, I missed that at first
I think You might have also missed the 2 signs......that's what I noticed  just before

I was about to say how do we know it's not a regular spot....

Ah, didn't see those. Paying attention is not really my kind of thing... ;)

My thoughts, in no particular order:

1) That's a sweet building!  Is it rented, or does Stardock own it?  I didn't realize Stardock would need that much space!

2) The Stardock logo on the side looks really classy.

3)  Oh, that's a very, very nice looking Porsche.  I wonder how many miles it has on it?  Maybe I need to let frogboy win the next 3v3 matchup.

4)  Classic "I'm just running in to do one more thing and then rushing home for dinner" shot.

5)  People care this much?  There is a normal space available to his left!

6)  The best thing Brad can do is ignore this post.

7)  What idiot parked in the middle of the road to take a picture?

1: I believe they built it and own it. (Check 'Stardock' on Google Maps. They've got two locations.) ;)

6: I bet he does!

Hey, isn't that the Restaurant of Eternity?

#1 We posed the car that way (it is actually blocking TWO handicap spots) in order to take a picture because it was offensively funny.

#2 The user in question downloaded Impulse, then later installed Fences, uninstalled Fences, and then was shocked, SHOCKED that the program needed Impulse to uninstall.

#3 I recommend that sad, bitter, politically correct people avoid Stardock and Stardock products at all costs.  We're dangerous men and women here who are always on the cusp of total madness.

I ran over a dog yesterday. Does that count?

No, the space to the left is also a disabled slot. Not that I've ever seen anyone use them for their intended purpose - or at all.

The INTENT was to block 2 handicap spots so that we could take a picture. :)

So you were giving yourself negative propaganda in order to bring more attention to yourself in the idea there is no such thing as bad news

Well, item #2 was not something we had anything to do with. Just some clueless person deleting the installer and then blaming us for requiring it when they go to uninstall something.

With item #1, we took pictures of it for our own use. We didn't distribute it out.  But on the other hand, we don't really care if it does get out because people who are easily offended are people we don't want to deal with in the first place.

I figure, every time some busy body insists that we need to be more "professional" someone can just pop up that picture.

Here's a post I wrote awhile back that outlines my views:

You don't need a sweet car to do that! I park my 94 cutlass sierra in handicap spots and firelanes. I wouldn't brag unless you're handicapped and just joking.  Otherwise you're probably the A hole that's always illegally using a space when I need one.  I know at 19 you are immortal, but believe me it doesn't last.  One day you'll want that spot.

I was only jesting buddy. I work at a grocery store and I see young healthy people and over weight people pull into them all the time. I have given them a taste of my thoughts before. They always respond with "Well I am only going to be a moment." My response is get your lazy ass to the back of the parking lot you fat fuck.

One cat once tried to outrun the Corolla SR5 on Thimens boulevard... when i showed up at the office later that morning, accounts payables had to wait for about 15 minutes more of trying to forget what i've just seen in a back mirror -- but, not after having braked 500 feet further and slamming a darn fist on a metal hood outa frustration for me & bad luck for the feline.

Accidents DO happen, but they certainly aren't silly jokes to make.

My thoughts exactly, it definitely looks as though someone was in a hurry!

He was trying to clean up for Jafo's visit.

Porsche 911 can park or fly even if some amphibian is at the wheel?

So... get a Boxter or Carrera, green. I'll paint the Logo.

Classic, and I fell for it hook line and sinker.  Well played.

Kick at will, but only the white ones - IF they're handicapped. ;)

I eat bunnies and chickens, if that counts.

Really, is that the only reason?
