I just got a popup from windows XP telling me that there is an update available. Turns out the update is IE8.

I use Firefox for all my browsing so is there really any point in installing it?

Anyway, I like IE8....FF, too. I use IE8. I kinda like the new layout. I've got no real complaints so far. It's all about personal preferances. Use what you want to, it's your choice. Just leave the name-calling out of this. It makes you look bad.:annoyed:

yep, the entire gist of what I was saying. These threads always turn out that way and are essentially a waste of time because of it.

I have used many browers, but I am been most pleased by IE8. I've been using it since beta, and it's incredibly fast. Many of my friends, long time FF users have begun to migrate to the awesome power of IE8.
