Yes, FrogBoy, .. I know that XP authors and/or any author in general has been acussed of submitting XP skins or wallpaper in the hope to get into the top ten downloads for it. But think of this..Not ALL XP material wether it be skins or wallpaper have made it into the top ten anyway. I could not say I have noticed that every single XP related piece of material that has shown up on this site has ended up in the top ten. I have not seen proof of that. Not would I believe this.<br

Many of us can understand your dissapointment to be honest. XP material, such as skins, and wallpapers and themes are all being bombarded with low ratings, regardless of wether the work is actually good or not. The difference between this site and deviantart, is that the two sites operate differently with two kinds of sets of rules. On this site the rating system operates differently from deviantart. Taking up on Paxx's point I agree with him as it is not fair that people can hide behind a vail of obscurity, when voting for a skin,. Because it and they are anonynous. It lets people judge things harshly or mean in their vote. I ALSO think that a system should be brought in where a person can only make one comment per skin. Pedjudisim is an ugly thing Mister ME but I understand the grief of a lot of people here. I already pointed out that a lot of my WB XP skins I deleted myself. I left I think three, one was an old Luna style, and one based on the current one, and the old Whistler style skin I did. I wont be making any news WB skins for XP now. Ok, I can see why people are upset over XP and I agree that a lot of talented artist don't stand a chance of getting into the top ten if there work is other than XP lately. Worse thing is I was in the OB section just now, and every OB theme I saw was XP, and they all look identical now. I encouraged one of the artist to do something original. I agree with this T-Man, and this is what counts, at the end of the day. People seem to forget about that I think. I always consider the ratings on that site more valuable and accurate ? but maybe its just me ? Anyway, I think the system StarDock currently uses should Stay. Especially after reading T-Mans thought on this.

I dont agree with this, at all. This is because what you are saying is based on your own feelings on what YOU percieve to be 'crap'. Lots of you say Microangelo, byt I prefer AX-Icons as it has a tone of features to boot. This program is cabably of reading Shell Icons and Executables. Yes you can even edit an executable and change it icons inside it if you wanted. Besides this is has a really neat IExplorer style Interface, and tool bar !
