Well I said i am not uploading any *New* XP skins. because I *Really* DO!! want to start on new skins, and themes. So i will be doing less of XP anyway.. (Damn! I had a really cool looking silver Luna theme lined up for DX as well) ! [Cat side steps out of here before the screaming starts..]

[Sigh]....Yes I don't really expect any other XP author to change directon. Mainly due to the fact that most of them are actually new to wincustomize and dont understand how long this XP craze has been going on.. So ! I can only expect them to upload more of the XP skins and then claim to be the best or some one will [anyway]. This is without realising how old XP skinning actually is now. B

You certianly do !.. so if you havent got Object Desktop Yet I would certainly think about it .. You can't install that theme without Object Bar Installed.

What is pityful Mr Raab is XP skinners who dont realise that there is now to much XP skins and wallpapers on Wincustomize. I have asked them personally to stop doing any more.. but yet more still arrive each day. So what else can i say ?... I know that there isnt any creativity left in Luna skins, and the look is old and no longer Fresh. I see it is the general feelings of many skinners that it isn't

Actually marc got the icons [AND graphics]indirectly from my Windows XP Luna Experienced themes. marc assured me that he had no knowledge that they are the graphics files I had used back in those releases that I had done for Hoverdesk and Talisman a while ago. I feel incensed by the way people uploaded their XP wallpapers claiming they are original when in fact they are using the XP logo. Ok so if the wallpaper is original of these Autors who I wont mention by name here, then why did it have to have the XP logo in the first place. Yes, Crae, I am afraid that is the only way to get the message across to some people I guess. I had a change of heart in my skinning direction after I realised the comments being made by skinners rings true. I personally feel saddened at what is happening to skinners over this subject. It is causing upset people arguing, and it does NOT help the community as a whole. So the XP skins must stop even if its for a while until some thing fresh comes along. aah so if the Logo is a registered trademark of like M$ and the skinner uses that logo in their skin design then it would be considered un original ? even though the skin is nothing that Micorosoft or Apple have ever done ? is that right ?

sad thing is though can any other skinner who has done XP themes recently. The Object Bar section and Desktop X section concerns me the most. I am also concerned now that the skinners invloved with causing this problem in the community in the first place wont comment here, or ok maybe they just dont look on the message boards. ok what if you make some thing for a specific logo that is new and hasnt been used. Might say windows on the box, but the skin is radically different in style to anything Ms or Apple might have thought up. this cannot be called un original, as all it uses is a logo and nothing elese... Thanks. but the lack of response here worries me. As the Other XP autors just dont seem to be brave enough to answer this post ! this also means more of the damned same updates.. urrh. just seems they are just going to carry on flogging it until even the public hate it too.! This is a simple request for people doing XP work to just now move on from it. But so far I dont see other XP authors

I have decided to post this thread due to the recent problems that windows XP skins and Wallpapers etc. are having on the community. To XP authors, :- please for the sake of God please dont do any more updates. There is nothing new coming out of Xp skins and it does not benefit the community to keep re hashing old skins. I ask you and urge you to prove your skills as real skinners and show a real show of originality in your skins now. Also consider producing new a fresh idea's to share
