Hello Developers! I have a request... Would it be possible for you folks to whip up an out of game stand alone ship creater for us poor fools at work? I would love to be able to spend time building ships to use in my games without actually being in the game. What are the chances of this??

Thats not true exactly. You could be building a battleship and get the next ship up, and it will still take at least twice as long to build that next ship. As far as I know, no ship of a lesser tech level takes longer to build then a ship above it in level. No matter what ship you are building, you will never be able to switch to a more powerful version and get it the next turn unless you buy it.

I like the idea of visible empire borders. Maybe they dont have to have a specific function other then to just section off your controlled space.

I dont like the idea of building up military and social production points. Look, when you get a new ship type, you shouldnt be able to have 20 of them the next turn. It makes no sense that your worlds would be ready with a nearly completed version of a highly advanced space ship before it was even researched.

Space Empires 4 just doesnt look very good. There is a point where too many options is bad. I love Galactic Civ. I think it has the perfect blend of Micro and Macro management. If they only could improve it in those few areas it would be perfect all around. Combat and ship design are the only lacking areas.

Well, because im used to people saying "Hey this isnt Masters of Orion..bla bla.." Purists.. This game blows MOO away in the empire aspect, but the ship building/combat in MOO2 was 200% better. I have said to many people that GCiv is what MOO3 "should" have been. However, it is still missing those aspects that I love.

I know this isnt MOO, so dont go off on me. I love GCiv. I think its the best space strat game in years. However, there are just a few things that are missing. The biggest of which is the ability to build your own ships and outfit them with weapons you select. I just dont like how all the races have the same techs/ships. Its to vanillia. Is there any way to create 100% different techs for each race, give us the ability to play other races, and add ship customization? Honestly I don
