I have been using wince and pocket pc for about 5 years now. A few years ago there was a client called jabber that had GNU roots from linux. However this client has changed focus to more of a corporate messaging system. However unfortunate that this is I believe Odigo will server this task. on a side note... AVOID their driver updates for devices like video cards and network cards. Instead get these from the PC OEM or manufacture of the card. Modem should be ok... after all most likely you used a MS driver in the first place.

well this is quite a conundrum. sometimes an update will cause issues with speed of your computer or repair one thing while breaking another. Should something be caused by an update you can be assured MS will release an update for the update... whew... for your part you should pay attention to any noticable changes after an update, and if something goes wrong you can uninstall it. <img src="http:/

actually tech cat that contest was on sunday. anyway the fact I see is that most linux admins have the mind set that they are safe from any sort of hack. And tend not to do much of anything to protect their network entry points around such machines. This sort of cad mindset is what exactly is attracting the hacks. In the end its a good thing.
