Themes is a pretty generic term... If you mean destopx or windowblinds right here at wincusto. If you mean basic themes that you do not need xtra software for although they are not as interesting as the afore mentioned programs you can try http://www.themedoctor.com/ <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" bor

There are programs out there that do this for you for eg. ( I don't endorse any of these products just offering them as a possible answer for your needs. ) Tweaking Toolbox, Customizer XP and Magic Tweak just do a Google search on any of them... if your a do it your self sorta guy then edit the registry yourself. Allways back up first. Don't edit your registry if your not familar with it. 1. Start the Registry Editor 2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Control Panel \ Desktop \ 3. R

there are apps out there that will allow you to decrease the lag time of pop up menus and the start menu. Theres no way with your pc you should see a visable lag time because of window blinds. I have a P2 450 64meg radeon and 384meg ram... no visable delay. adjust that setting and you'll be fine.

I'm on the outside looking in... ( I am Canadian ) I do not believe NY needs something to "stand out" NY stands out! However my resolve is: The US and NY need to rebuild no matter what, they have too show the world and more specifically the creatures of terror that the US and symbolically the free thinking world will not, do not and never will allow such cowardly acts to prevail! Now with that out of my system... I would like to see NY with the tallest buildings in the world again. Its only

The challenge for me was I could not for the life of me get XP Pro to boot from LILO. It would start then go blue screen... I had to use the XP command console and re-write the MBR. Then XP would boot. So now I am using Boot Magic to manage all the BR's. Everything works so I am happy! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/

boot into safe mode this will prevent the common names from loading. It is neccisary to edit the run registry key and remove the reference to common names then delete the common names directory. reboot done. then send the common names company a scathing email.

sounds viral to me... basically the default actions have been mixed up. you failed to mention which OS your using. But most likely these issues will only be resolved by a re-install of your OS. Sounds harsh but unless your really slick with a registry editor then that will be the route. Norton System doctor may offer some help but I doubt it will find all of the keys that need to be corrected.

If your intention is strictly for a home pc XP would be ur best bet. you will find that there is greater software support for the mass home market. 2000 will be more useful for business purposes. Also XP is based on the same Kernel as 2000 but has a more interesting user interface and the restore feature. Which is a saving grace for those of us that like to mess around with our OS a little too much.
