Blog Navigator could be so good. Sorry, guys, but I think version 1.0 isn't ready yet. I installed it today. First run, it froze up. Didn't even appear in Task Manager, had to end process. Restart, ok. Then, crash. Tried it again a little later, another crash. Now uninstalled. I'll stay with Feed Demon, thanks.

I've been using ObjectDock since the beginning of it. I bought OD Plus during beta, now got the release version. To be honest, I don't like it. Too many bells and whistles for me. I prefer the simplicity of Object Dock. No criticism of OD Plus - I just don't like it! I'm sticking with OD.

Manually installing the latest SD Central works, i.e., running SD after install doesn't produce a crash.

I've had the same thing as well on XP - run SD Central, it detects an updated version, begins downloading it and then, during the download, crashes. I'll try the manual route. Thanks.

I was glad to see these posts re sdmcp.exe. Since Stardock Central updated itself on my PC last Friday (Nov 21), some weird things have been happening, like really long time from Windows XP log on until I see desktop icons - over 45 secs; before, I could get from log on to clicking an icon to run a program in less than 8 secs. I also noticed this sdmcp.exe process running and equally don't like something running on my PC without knowing why or what it does! Maybe it's purely coincidenta
