How the some of the aliens of SC2 can be incorporated to Origin Universe without touch the SC2 universe

Regardless, I am looking forward to seeing what the story of Origins is.  But It could be possible to do the aliens of Star Control in Origin.  Could follow how Star Trek split the timeline between the new movies and the Prime Universe. 

Example would be the Androsynth went back in time before Star Control 1 and altered the course of the timeline and create a new branching timeline for the Origin Universe.  They could actually have gone further back in time to the early days of the Ur-Quan and Taalo era.  Changes were made and thousands of years later, we have the Origin story that has both familiar races and new races.  Potentially, what ever the Androsynth did, could now have the Ur-Quan be a force for good.  Maybe the Androsynth didn't do anything and they just travelled in time and then died.  The ancient race of the time found their ship and discovered records of what happened in the future.  They then took steps to prevent the Ur-Quan from becoming what they became.  Maybe the Ur-Quan found the ship themselves and prevented that future and creating a new timeline.

But that's just a thought of how it could have incorporated a "reboot" of the story without actually rebooting.  Nods could be made to the original SC2 games the same way the Star Trek movie universe gives a nod to the Prime Universe.
