"We also need your help. If you're interested in the game, spread the word... If you know other strategy gamers who might like this, feel free to link to this news item." In another words Brad you want us to get gamers hopelessly addicted to civ games like we are. I couldn't do that to my friends.

Will GalCiv 2 take advantage of duel processors since they are becoming cheaper? Also will you be tweaking the Civ4 AI any in your spare time? It would be interesting to see what changes you would have made with civ4 AI. But I'm sure you'll be too busy with GC2 to give too much time with civ4.

yes . you can download AP beta if you have pre-ordered through Stardock. You don't have to go though Drengin anymore but download it using Stardock Central. I assumed the beta is in the very last stages to work out any bugs that shows up.

I find it amusing how so many people can completey miss a point being made all because they are so busy defending a game/company that they probably spend too much time on anyways. I would hate to actually have a figure on how many of the folks on this board spend their entire evenings (if they even have a job during the day) instead of with their families. Oh wait, 45, single, still living with parents, makes sense now...
Wrong ; I'm 35 with my o

it's pretty hard to say the Ai is cheating on your very first game. if i can outdo the AI on my first game i would say the AI is very weak. but the AI will never be human ; that true in any game. AI never uses the keyboard or mouse in a shooter or a RTS and has an opening library in Chess programs. I guess it hard to make everyone happy. To me Gal Civ is one of the best and interesting AI in any game.

I cant believe gamers are crying over the resolution and graphics of Gal Civ.I've been gaming for years so i remember the C64 years. C64 only had 16 colors but I still had a lot of fun playing them . The games didnt cost as much as today, C64 had a lot of variety & ideas for games. It wasnt as big of a gamble to make a game like it is now . No, I dont want to go back to C64 days but I'm gald Stardock made Gal Civ unique and fun while trying to keep the cost down with the limited graphics . Let's

I believe saying to expansion is totally free is not the whole truth .In business nothing is free .A business got to make a profit to continue . how many of you will work a week without pay!!! no i didn't think so. Stardock also has to pay it's employees and bills. So think of this way ; future customers who will buy the game and those gamers who pay for Drengin.net makes it possible the make a free expansion for the rest of us who cant (or dont want to) buy the expansion pack . For all gamers wh

I believe multiplayer for GalCiv would be a big mistake .I played other multiplayer civs games (like Civ3) and also HOI(not civ but WW2) . I found out I spend more time trying to get a good game started then playing one. here is some of the problems with TBS multiplayers : 1) spend alot of time waiting 2) players quit just when things get interesting 3) LAG 4) cant finish in one sitting so 5) the biggest pain is trying get everyone back to continue the game : It easyer have a family reunion

I would like AI improvements rather than customs ships design. I also remember Warzone 2100 which was a RTS. I could customs thousands of troops but at the end I mostly just use the latest tech and strongest armor ,etc. Gal Civ custom part is in the starbases not in the ships themselves. It wouldnt hurt to have a few more ships to feel in the gaps though. So i vote for more ships than customs ones. Custom ships sound good but in the end it doesnt improve the game enough for the trouble. I notice
