I decided to make my Desktop a full blown explorer.exe-less desktop. Running DX, Objectbar, and WB all takes up less RAM then using explorer! One thing however is the fact that I cna't use Windows Explorer. Is there a program you know of the does everything explorer can and more?

I have... DX 2.1 Win XP Home 512 DDR RAM 1.6 Ghz It seems to spike up whenever a CPU intensive app starts, it freezes the app and then stays on 100%. And I only use 3 objects (besides my 2 icons) one of which IS an email checker...

Ok, I got DX 2.1 and I've been having a problem lately. Sometimes, at random times but it looks like it happens at the worst times , DX starts running and eating my CPU, making it go at 100% continuously. I always have to reload DX and it stops, but wil eventually start again at some point. Why?

Hmm...my firweall does react to things but it never makes my Norton have problems. If its just a connection thats needed, I'll get a message, and I'll allow DX to connect to whatever it needs, and I've doe this before with no problem (like the weather and cnet news objects) but THIS particular object ticked off Norton...

I downloaded the Skinstudio 4 free edition of stardock.com, I wanted to use it and make some bootscreens because of the palette fixing problem that happens with most programs. But when I load in my screen, apply the dither and smapler things, press Save, and type w/e, it won't save!! It doesn't specify which format its saving in first off. So I try typing BOOT or BOOT.bmp and nothing works! Is there a way I can easily do this in Photoshop 7? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images

DX Script in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Ok, this is what I want, when an object is clicked on it, it makes a group of objects visible. So on the clickable object I put: Sub Object_OnClick gmenu.visible = True End Sub gmenu ONE of the objects I want visible on click. But it won't appear! Its on screen, but in its script I put that on Script Enter "visible = false". That should change when I click on the other object though right?
