We're shocked and grateful and humbled by the community response to Elemental: Reforged. In the first week since Beta 1 hit Early Access, we’ve hitwishlist numbers and sales approximately 6X higher than our most optimistic projections. Congrats to the team! It also highlights that this genre seems to be very popular and that there may be enough demand someday for a true successor - a ground up game made in a 64 bit engine made natively with l

I have noticed as of late that on abundant maps that there is not much Durantium on the galaxy maps. It seems to spawn a lot less frequently than the other resources such as antimatter and elerium. Are you experiencing similar issues? I believe that we will need substantially more durantium on the maps for balance purposes. It also makes mass driver weapons not viable.

It seems that right now, tourism is the end all, be all of income generation. The adjacency bonuses are pretty strong and lead to perhaps as much as an order of magnitude too much tourism revenue. Would it be possible to review and check how much it is generating?

Right now I"m leaning towards Gravitonics (for the capacity bonuses) and Slavers (for the Slave building abilities). Are there any other particularly good choices for a civilization that people would recommend? Synthetic and Slavers? With a Synthetic Civilization thouugh, it's less useful as the Slaver bonuses mostly favor morale and +1 pop cap increase (already 100 anyways). One feedback to Stardock mi

I think that all of these could probably be put into GC3. 1. Could be done. Twilight saw for example each race with their own technology. The Thalan especially had their own good/evil. I'd say each race with their own ideology is possible. Custom races could then choose a tech tree and ideology tree. Maybe some races might have some specifics - the Drengin Ideology Tree for example might steer you down Evil. 2. Bli

Yeah the early game does build up. The challenge if you don't build a fleet is that the AI will flag you for "You are ripe for conquest" early on and act accordingly. Late game though, I wonder, the Drengin late game bonus is +4 for manufacturing, which is insanely good and their manufacturing buildings are better. I think overall they are the top late game, planet for planet.

[quote who="admiralWillyWilber" reply="6" id="3662731"] How without adjancies from a powerplant being a population improvement, not manufacturing, or research improvement. I counted them they still have the same amount of power plant buildings, but suffer from one sided adjancies. Also only having one population improvement limits the possibility of creating a late game planet that's a high population all production given I have not seen a all production planet superior. Having only

Just wondering about this. A lot of the mercenaries (IMO) are not worth the purchase price. Early game The Ysengard (will pay for itself with the extra 100 credits) The Pollen? Extra manufacturing in a class >14 world will be able to pay for itself. What else? What about the Scion or any of the support mercenaries?

Hang on ... double checking. Yeah that's correct. It looks like it was part of the Community version. I think there isn't much else that I see. Right now, it seems like Gal Civ 2, perhaps because it's mature, seem like a better game than Gal CIv 3. Maybe that will change down the line once it matures. The AI is actually quite a bit more intelligent in GC2 right now. I only wish we had access to adjace
