Besides disgusting and unethical, I find it in poor taste and completely incompetent for someone to take another person’s work and present it as his/her own with out the consent of the artist. One thing is to have copy the colors, letters or even the composition and another thing is to have taken the entire design and use it as original. It really burns me when things like this happen. We are all behind you Titan.

On the Winamp tutorial says the following.... The last step you need to do before unleashing your Skin on the world is to convert it to the WSZ format. How do I do that, you ask? Just follow the following steps: 1) With the Zip compression tool of your choice, zip YOUR skin folder (not the Winamp "Skins" folder)into a .ZIP file. 2) Rename the new file's extension from .ZIP to .WSZ. 3) Test it by removing your skin folder, then placing your .WSZ into the Winamp "Skins" f

It’s really a shame to lose such a good artist over an issue of 'why this wall was accepted and why that wall wasn’t' I really don’t know where the line of tolerance stands on the work submitted here or how far it stretch, but honestly, it does does not concern me, my only concern and pleasure comes from creating art. I just hope everyone would come to terms with them selves so we can avoid abandonment.

Sylva I wouldnt consider a skin with out the shells incomplete, since the default shells will appear if you dont add yours. But its always nice to see a skin with all the features from the same theme. Looking foward to see your work

I have read all the posts in regard to this issue of Top Authors. And I think if we really want to be fair, the correct thing to do is feature 2 lists. One with the over all Top Authors and another with the featured Top Author for the day, week or month (how ever management figures) This way there's a equality of fairness on both sides of the artists group. As a new artist my self, I can understand how some new artists want to be awknowlege or noticed, specially if they are doing great work.

Sound like you both are doing real good Dark, If you want to use part of a wall design for a WB, its hard to do in all aspects of the skin as Boxxi mentioned. But you can use 'cut-out' parts from the wall to create the logof window and the frame of the Start Menu window, just remember to make the 'cut-out' parts of the wall the same size as the template for the Start Menu window.
