1. Multiples of ship gear are not treated as multiples. Have two cargo holds? Only sell them back for the price of one. Have two Not So Cuddle Drives? Can't give one away to Starbase Command for the colony mission while the other is installed on your ship. Hmm. Actually, I don't think I was able to give one away (when I had two) even when I had the Overmind Drive installed. 2a. A quest fails to correctly update on the Objectives. Cure you

Searches internet to find wiki that will explain pluses and minuses of each quest path in the "Assassinate the Toys" quest....
The captain's journal does not have enough entries. Let me give an example of something that happened last night. I found a system that the Mu'Kay use as a layover for deep space exploration. And on one of the planets, I found a Not So Cuddle Drive. Score! (Yeah, I already have a Not So Cuddle Drive, but this one was free and I will be able to get it for free in my next play-through... I hope.) Flipping to my journal... I found nothing. No entry.</p
OH! I just thought of another lander module to add! Tree killer! Any tree the lander runs into falls over with only a minor impact to the lander's speed! I'd definitely equip that!
First, I want to congratulate Stardock for taking planets and making them more interesting than SC2. Very good! But the problem is that it takes longer to explore. Especially gem worlds when you don't have the jump module equipped. But I don't necessarily want you to change the planets. You did a good job! So I just had an idea: customized landers! 1. We get more slots on the main ship to equip lander tech. 2. We then have to edit each of our fo
Taslios, that is evil. I love it!
We had the nature of the multi-verse explained to us. Ok, I'm trying to remember the words used, but all I really remember is the punchline / reference to SC2. It went something like this: Other dimensions exist alongside of ours. They look very much like ours, but at a higher or lower resolution. So: if we change our resolution, we should get new content! And by new content, I really just mean an extra dialog tree stuck somewhere in the game.
:D Did you skip some dialog, perhaps?
So, if I open up the display options and change my resolution... do I get new content? (If I don't get new content, then Stardock missed a golden opportunity to drop an easter egg on us)
Actually, if you left-click a planetary body, the name shows up. FYI. And yes, I also sold minerals I wish I hadn't. Multiple times, in fact.
1. When docking at a shipyard, it would be SUPER helpful if I was given a list. In this list, it would show me what new components I just got the BLUEPRINTS for (aka, I can now buy them anywhere), and would also show any components I buy but I'm not getting the blueprints for. It's really annoying to have to look through all my lists every time I find a new Precursor base. And it was quite annoying when I found that 'other base' and then realized later that the lander armor
So the circle IS the range! I thought it was. But I kept having to visit those interesting star systems along the way and explore those planets and use up fuel.
Hmm. So it sounds like combining my request will only work with "must touch the center of the planet" and "ship exits orbit and appears on top of said planet" (aka a complete return to SC2 functionality). ......so please revert all three? I'll admit that the faster my ship goes, the less annoying it is. I've unlocked the first upgrade and I've already noticed it not sucking so badly. But that first few hours or so when you're randomly exploring and don'
Could we go back to SC2 functionality for planetary navigation? It's minor, but I'm SUPER ANNOYED by this. I fly to a planet. I enter planetary orbit. I do stuff. I leave planetary orbit and I'm facing the wrong way! I pretty much have to turn my ship around EVERY SINGLE TIME to go to the next planet. And can we enter planetary orbit by touching the planet's center instead of the edge? Some of these planets and moons are pretty close to each o
I wondered if I was just reading something wrong. Yeah, I vote for adding the fuel calculator (back) in. Among other things like crew manifest balancing (or rather, imbalancing!) and resource dumping to name a few.
Actually, when I saw this game, my first thought was: "O.M.G! Spore and No Man's Sky had a love child and they sent it to Paul and Fred to be raised as a Kung Fu Campaign Fu master!" Needless to say, I immediately pre-ordered. I would have been a Founder, except I didn't even know this existed until after the Founder program closed. I'd wager that same copper that many feel the way I do.
Special weapon ideas: Damage battery and/or damage power regen - deadly against Mycon-type ships that require massive charges to use main and special guns. The Kardashev v0: creates asteroids that attempt to knock enemy ship into a planet. The Kardashev v1: imparts vector to planet that is most likely to intersect with enemy ship. The Kardashev v2: creates an extra planet that revolves around the first. I'm envisioning a race that are fantastic engineers and can bu
Lightstar, does it go in the StarControl forum? You correctly identified the game, but: 1. The thread isn't a question about the game 2. Or a complaint about the game 3. Or a suggestion to improve the game 4. Or a request for help because someone is stuck in the game. The thread is just me (and hopefully others) being silly for no reason. Perhaps you are right. If it was in the Star Control forum, then I'd probably have many more replies with "a
Over 150 people looked at this and nobody got it? I envisioned a grand array of characters, all dancing to their own beat, yet all synchronized into a grand display. But instead it fell and crashed. It's broken along with my dreams. Over and over I see this. A nightmare that never ends. 16,412 different ways to save this, yet none of them happened. My soul is in agony. There is no point in living, yet I feel as if death
I have good news! But it's also no news. I just wanted to share with my no news but good news news.
