Annoyed by exiting orbit reverses my ship direction

Could we go back to SC2 functionality for planetary navigation?  It's minor, but I'm SUPER ANNOYED by this.  I fly to a planet.  I enter planetary orbit.  I do stuff.  I leave planetary orbit and I'm facing the wrong way!  I pretty much have to turn my ship around EVERY SINGLE TIME to go to the next planet.

And can we enter planetary orbit by touching the planet's center instead of the edge?  Some of these planets and moons are pretty close to each other and it's tricky to get my ship to touch the correct planet while racing across the system at my fastest speed.   Or do you consider this a feature?  I can see you wanting to keep the planet-edge thing.

The reason we turn the ship around is that our playtesters kept running back into the same planet after leaving (esp. if they were using a controller).

I'll share your other suggestions with the designers.

And it was incredibly annoying trying to leave a planet and accidentally entering orbit over and over and over.

Hmm.  So it sounds like combining my request will only work with "must touch the center of the planet" and "ship exits orbit and appears on top of said planet" (aka a complete return to SC2 functionality).

......so please revert all three?

I'll admit that the faster my ship goes, the less annoying it is.  I've unlocked the first upgrade and I've already noticed it not sucking so badly.  But that first few hours or so when you're randomly exploring and don't know about the upgrades or where to get them, it really is quite irritating.  How is it that none of the playtesters requested this?

<sigh>  It's not game-breaking.  But it might be enough to reduce the number of times I replay the game.
