Well, I pre-ordered the game like 2 years ago, as soon as it popped up on impulse. I'm sad to not be satisfied with it. it isn't good, honestly. It doesn't give me the will to play for a while. During the beta i was like "ok, it's not really fun, but it's still a beta, it's gonna be awesome soon or late", but now it's released... I closed the game before it even crashed, unlike most, apparently. Still, why do i like stardock ? they don't give up. i know i bought a game

We will see. i am all for cheering Stardock too, as I bought and loved every games they worked on. I am just getting a little scared with the pushes of the release date and with the big opponents showing up. At the beginning it was supposed to be released in feb 2010 if i'm not mistaken. But right now we're at beta 1 out of 5. The good graphics aren't here yet nor most of the real gameplay which could take more time than what we currently have in Beta1 and already took forever. I thoug
Well, when i pre-ordered Elemental in early 2009, it was smelling like the best thing to come in the genre. Now we know there is a little game called Civilization 5 coming soon. I mean 'ouch'. It's another story now. Hopefully Elemental will be able to face it with no blush.
i have a feeling this game ain't gonna be released before march 2011 at least. while i'm happy that it's gonna be polished and well done, i hope it will not be old right when it's out.
Haha, while i was typing my e-mail to the support and retrying the process simultaneously, it finally worked. i didn't do anything different except that the first times the game was not installed and activated at its launch. maybe it has to do with it? i have no idea. now it works fine, and it's a good game so far. Thankies :)
Hello, Today i bought Majesty 2 the Fantasy Kingdom Sim at my retail store in France. I am interested in registering the CD-Key on Impulse so i get an easy life with the patches. I know i'm lazy. Anyways, i opened Impulse, clicked "register a product", then "add registration", i entered the serial number, e-mail adress (already in since i'm connected into impulse already), category "games" then found majesty 2 in the product list. When i clicked the add registration to
i have sins of a solar empire already. any chance for a bundle including only the expansions? that's what i want.
core gamers already own old titles 8/16/64 bits. they also own original gamecube titles getting remade on wii. really wii's virtual console and wiiware can't even match with PSN and XBLA's titles either. look at Braid, SSF2 turbo HD, Flower, Wipeout, castle crashers, bionic commando rearmed, Soldner-X or super stardust hd... wii still cost 250 euros here. more than a xbox 360. 'nuff said
well that's the purpose of impulse :)
i don't see it like this. i paid for the game, not the beta. sure it's not a free demo that you can try before you pay, but it's ok in my opinion, since i don't play a demo for every game i will buy. i had fun in the beta and it gave me some knowledge about the game mechanics before the release. now the game works good for me and i love it, tho i think the loadings are long and the solo mode isn't as good as multiplayer. good game and i have no regret.
All these Q.Q for 2 or 3 days, geez. this is childish. we played betas months before everyone and full game will be downloadable tomorrow, end of story.
i can't understand people saying they don't buy a game only because it's not on either steam or impulse (whatever they prefer). if you like a game then go for it. there is no loyalty problem here, it's just business and you support everyone as long as you buy everywhere. i can understand a PS3 console gamer doesn't want to drop some hundreds of dollars only to play mass effect or halo 3 or any game exclkusive to xbox 360 but on PC it doesn't cost you anything to use several digital pla
Anyways even if you buy your boxed copy before the release you won't be able to play since the game needs to unlock on impulse and be activated i think.
as long as he doesn't join stardock or valve i don't care. i hate the sims and spore. dude makes games for n00bs, not for me.
the witcher...best rpg ever
fallout 3 - not gonna comment....so sad street fighter 4 - it's good but not the excellence of street fighter 2 and 3. not acceptable for this serie.
about activision i hope you signed a contract to release the games worldwide, didn't you?
If i could only buy 3 games this year, they would be : - Demigod - Mafia 2 - Bioshock 2 If i could only play 3 games, including those i already have and those coming in 2009, they would be : - Demigod - Sins of a Solar Empire - Left 4 Dead
I would like Stardock to develop applications and games for Iphone. i'm planning to grab one soon. Also I have a xbox 360 and a PS3, but I don't like strategy games on consoles. I think 4x aren't made for console controllers. And even if there was a mouse/keyboard compatibility, it just doesn't go with the idea i have of a console (i mean, playing in my sofa). If Stardock plans to develop on consoles, I'd suggest to go for different kind of games than strategy, i can see Stard
I'm happy with my almost 2 years old 8800GTX 768Mo. Runs pretty much everything at top settings in 1680x1050 :) But I'd change if there was a new directX coming and incompatible with my card. You make me want a 64 bit OS and 8Go of DDR2 though lol
Hi again, I solved it myself :) If you buy Supreme Commander GOLD and find the same error, this is because impulse's registration database does not have the GOLD's edition inserted. Only the separated games are there. What you have to do is : - check the e-mail your received after your purchase, you'll find 3 serial numbers (one for supcom, one for forged alliance, one for gold pack). - open impulse, click on the registration tab in the top right corner
Hello Stardock, I've just ordered Supreme Commander Gold and when I try to install wether Supcom or Forged Alliance, I have this message coming up : "The serial number you entered is not recognized by Impulse. Only serial numbers provided by Stardock are accepted. Please check your selected product, e-mail address, and serial number, then try again." This is blocking the installation of the games. I did not enter any serial manually, I have the on
The current graphics didn't please me so much. 2010 is war too far. I've never played MOM. But in the end, I trust Stardock, and I just couldn't resist. It's pre-ordered. :)
the witcher EE...i've just reached third chapter, the game is amazing, immersive, beautiful and addictive. I can't find any cons on this one, it's the best RPG i've played so far. I'm also on multiwinia, this is intense fun. The big battles are coming early and there is no real strategy in the mode I've tried. It's just massive kills, massive fun. I need to play online and with other modes though to see if it doesn't get boring after a while.
